☑️ NPR lays off 100 employees as it faces $30 million decline in revenue. 10% of its workforce.

☑️ CNN's Free Fall Gets Even Worse as Network Hits Ratings Rock Bottom Not Seen in Decades. Last week, CNN averaged only 84,000 viewers in the 25-54 age range during prime-time.

Just some random guy who happened to start a website which took off and made him a billionaire financier of online censorship. Sounds familiar... It sounds like he has been "with intelligence" for a long time.

His site wiped out a key revenue stream of small, local, and alternative newspapers across America, and thus centralized news coverage in large institutions, and he is now working to restrict online speech to establishment-approved opinions. Everyone who has ever lived through a cyber dystopia knows this story well.

Any finance bros out there able to say what this means?

The RESTRICT Act, supposedly to give the government the power to mitigate interference from foreign governments, is not limited to just TikTok, or foreign entities.

It gives the government authority over all forms of communication domestic or abroad and grants powers to “enforce any mitigation measure to address any risk” to national security now and in any “potential future transaction.”… This act also grants unlimited hiring power to positions of enforcement, unlimited funds with little or no review and immunity to Freedom of Information FOIA requests.
