The Guardian thinks telling young people to stop striving upward is good advice. This is filed under Mental Health. The writer tweets: "So here I am telling young people to drink more".

What prompted this revelation? She attends a non-alcoholic daytime rave filled with "very taut and well groomed" young people drinking health drinks, and she doesn't like it. She laments the fact that her generation achieved nothing of note, then tells the youth to follow the same miserable path.
