As part of our responsibility towards flattening the curve and helping in tackling COVID-19 global pandemic, Helix Animation team made an effort to outline, in a visually compelling way, the most common ways of transmission that the World Health Organizations defines as of this point. In addition, the video brings an artistic representation of the SARS-COV-2 virus causing it, by depicting some of its main features based on the latest relevant scientific research available (March 2020).

Bacteria Replication
Most prokaryotes reproduce by a process of binary fission, in which the cell grows in volume until it divides in half to yield two identical child cells. The generation time, varies among bacteria and is controlled by many environmental conditions. For example, Clostridium perfringens, one of the fastest-growing bacteria, has an optimum generation time of about 10 minutes; escherichia coli - ecoli can double every 20 minutes; and the slow-growing Mycobacterium tuberculosis has a generation time in the range of 12 to 16 hours.
