π *Tips About Fasting in Ramadan:*
πΉ Part 1
β In this month eating sohoor or sahari is a MUST.
β To prevent feeling hungry during the day, eat Sawiq and dates
β To prevent getting thirsty, eat dates and water at sohoor
β The holy Prophet (pbuh) said, the best of foods for sohoor are dates and Sawiq.
β Sawiq of barely is recommended to those who have diabetes and those who want to lose weight.
β Sawiq of wheat is good for those who want to gain weight.
β Do not eat heavy foods in your sohoor meal
β Avoid eating meaty and fatty foods in your sohoor meal
πΉ Note that sohoor is eqivalent to breakfast and Iftaar is equivalent to supper, so avoid eating a heavy meal at sohur. Fatty meals at sohoor make you feel thirsty during the day.
πΉ At Iftaar, if you eat fatty and meaty meals, avoid drinking water immediately after your food.
πΉFor your bread, eat whole-wheat Naan rather than oil based breads or breads without yeast that have not risen, like chapati.
πΉWarm milk , dates, Sawiq and honey with bread are good options.
ππ½ Drinking a cup of water with soaked chia seeds or basil before sleeping at night, helps you not to get thirsty during the day. You can add a tablespoon of honey into the juice as well.
β In Islamic sources one of the worst times for sleeping is between Fajr and sunrise. So try to be awake after Fajr and recite Quran untill the sunrise since sleeping at this time increases the toxins and waste humors in the body.
β COMPLETELY Avoid having cold water, cold milk, black tea, coffee, yoghurt, watermelon, fish in your sohoor meal.
πΊ If you drink warm milk , avoid eating fruits with it except dates or almonds.
ππ½ To prevent bad breath and if you want your mouth to smell good during the day, eat an apple at sohoor or before sleeping at night and avoid sleeping immediately after sohoor.
Also eating fresh basil for sohur makes the mouth fresh.
πEating a lot does not guarantee that you won't feel hungry or thirsty during the day, but sometimes a simple meal of bread, warm milk and dates can give you enough energy for the whole day. Also, the purpose of fasting is not just to starve, but to improve our soul and to help us get closer to our Lord, as Hadith says, "The best time when a person is close to his Lord is when he is hungry or when in sujud".
May Allah give us tawfiq to get the most benefits from this blessed month π€².

Tips About Fasting in Ramadan
πΉPart 2
πΊ Avoid over-eating at sohur and Iftaar.
Remember the Hadith says, "Eat when you are hungry and stop eating whilst you still have an appetite".
Studies show that it takes 20 minutes for the brain to register that the stomach is full. Unfortunately we eat and eat until we feel physically full, so according to the research, by the time the brain registers, we are actually well past being full.
Over eating prevents spiritual growth and it weakens the stomach.
πΊDo not eat different types of foods together at sohoor and Iftaar. First eat or drink the foods that are easier for digestion then have the heavier ones later with some gap between both.
πΊDrink liquids before or a short while after your meal, not between your meal or immediately after it. Gastritis, constipation, colon issues and fatty liver are all because of drinking water with food.
πΊ Drink a warm cup of water with dates to start your Iftaar. Cold water damages the liver especially first thing after breaking the fast.
You may say: "Why so many rules for eating?".
The answer is very simple, we say that by fasting, so many good things happen to the body. Fasting helps you to lose weight, helps the people who suffer from diabetes, improves the stomach and liver, etc.
However, after Ramadan people see that they have not lost weight and everything is the same as before. This is because these simple tips are not followed and therefore fasting will not benefit us as much as it should and can.
Let us follow these simple tips so that both our body and our soul can benefit from this blessed month! π«β¨π«β¨π«β¨π«β¨π«β¨π«β¨π«

π RAMADHAN Diet Guidelines:
In view of the long fasting hours, we should consume slow-digesting foods instead of fast-digesting foods during Ramadhan.
Slow digesting foods keep our energy levels sustained for up to 8 hours, while fast-digesting foods do so for only 3 to 4 hours.
One group of slow-digesting foods are higher in fiber, which allows for slower energy release. These are foods such as barley, wheat, oats, millet, semolina, wholemeal flour, unpolished rice, beans, lentils, etc. (These are called complex carbohydrates).
Another group of slow-digesting foods are those high in protein. These allow us to feel satisfied for longer and consist of foods such as nuts, seeds, eggs, beans, quality meat, fish, etc.
Fast-digesting foods are those that contain sugar, refined and white flour, etc. (These are called simple or refined carbohydrates).
β Fried foods are very unhealthy and should be limited. They cause indigestion, heartburn, and weight problems.
AVOID:
πΈ Fried and fatty foods
πΈ Foods containing too much sugar
πΈ Over-eating especially at suhoor
πΈ Too much tea at suhoor. Tea makes you pass more urine, taking with it valuable mineral salts that the body would need during the day and causing dehydration.
EAT:
πΈ Complex carbohydrates at suhoor to sustain energy levels for longer and feel less hungry during the day.
πΈ Haleem is an excellent source of energy, protein and is a slow-burning food.
πΈ Dates are an excellent source of energy, fiber, carbohydrates, potassium and magnesium (minerals responsible for helping us to relieve stress and relax).
πΈ Almonds are rich in protein and fiber.
πΈ Bananas are a good source of potassium, magnesium and carbohydrates.
DRINK:
πΈ As much water or (fresh) fruit juices as possible between iftar and bedtime so that the body may replenish fluid levels in this time.
πΉ CONSTIPATION
Constipation can cause piles (hemorrhoids), fissures (painful cracks in the anal canal) and indigestion with a bloated feeling.
βCauses: Too much refined food, too little water and not enough fiber in the diet.
β Remedy: Avoid eating refined foods in excess, increase water intake, use bran in baking and use wholemeal flour when making 'roti' and other breads. Soaked figs, prunes, apple juice, 'khak-shir' (mugwort seeds), chia seed drink and Sekanjebin are good options as well.
πΉ INDIGESTION AND WIND
βCauses: Over-eating. Too much fried and fatty foods, spicy foods, and foods that produce wind (e.g. eggs, cabbage, lentils and carbonated drinks like Cola).
β Remedy: Do not over-eat; drink (fresh) fruit juices or, better still, drink water.
Avoid fried foods; add ajmor to wind-producing foods.
πΉ HEADACHE
βCauses: Dehydration, caffeine and tobacco-withdrawal, doing too much in one day, lack of sleep and hunger (which usually occurs as the day progresses and gets worse towards the end of the day).
β Remedy: Checking and increasing fluid intake is usually the first thing to address for headaches (beverages such as fresh fruit & vegetable juices, chia / basil seed drink can help sustain hydration levels for longer). If this does not remedy the issue enough, then the cure would vary depending on which part of the head feels painful.

Now same experts say that using gloves and masks are useless and WHO declared that spreading sanitizers and bleach liquids in the streets not only has nothing to do with protection against spreading corona but it is harmful for people's health.
Have they sold enough?

Blood Pressure:
Regarding blood pressure, if the amount of Safra is reduced in the blood, blood becomes heavy in the veins and cannot move inside the capillaries and therefore the person feels cold fingers and toes. Blood pressure occurs due to this blockage and stagnance in the blood.
ππΌIf most of the blood material in this case is Dam, it is called warm blood pressure and if most of it is Balqam it is a cold blood pressure.
πΈThe signs of warm blood pressure:
πΊRed face
πΊRed veins in the eyes
Red lips (sometimes cracked)
πΊBleeding gums
πΊVeins on the neck would be visible
πΊFeeling heavy in the head
πΉThe signs of cold blood pressure:
π»Feeling heavy and tired in the body and brain
π»Feeling sleepy
π»Pulse is weak
βοΈCure for warm blood pressure:
1πΈdrinking a cup of Sekanjebin juice or a tablespoon of "natural vinegar" after each meal
2πΈHijamah 2 or 3 times in every 2 weeks for men, each month for women
3πΈOne tablespoon of Dosin every 8 hrs
β¦οΈ In case the blood pressure exceeds the maximum, you can prick the fingers with a sterilized needle and release a couple of drops of blood.
βοΈ Cure for cold blood pressure:
1πΈConsuming warm natured foods
2πΈ Drinking saffron or orange blossom tea daily
3πΈ A tablespoon of Dosin every 8 hrs
ππ½ In conventional medicine the medicines prescribed do not cure blood pressure issues permanently but they dilate blood vessels to solve the issue temporarily. They also have side effects that in the long term cause weakness, fatigue, weak pulse, feeling sleepy often, etc.
In Islamic medicine there is a herb to dialate the blood vessels such as black seed but it is not a permanent cure and it should be ground then mixed with honey (making 'dosin').
If black seed is swallowed as it is, it increases blood pressure but if chewed and swollowed it works well in bringing down blood pressure.
