Moved Rembly in play market to closed testing.

Now waiting 2 weeks while app is tested by 12 people 😂🤡
Play market has a rule for new accounts: apps should be tested for 2 weeks by 12 people that open your app every day.

Success is endurance in disguise. It belongs to the person who can absorb the losses without absorbing the identity of "loser." It's the courage to start — and to stick with it — that is the real separator. Results tend to find the person who stays in the game.

Soon Sizzle will have an entire design system implementation!

I've been working on creating a Sizzle Design System, which contains foundations (colors, spacings) and core components.

Text component that supports inline styles
It feels I sent too little context about it 🙈

It allows to "create text nodes" and specify styles for them.

I will write a small article on how to use this component with localizations 🤞🏿

Introducing the reworked version of the Sizzle Starter! 🔥

For a long time, many doubted Flutter. I was one of its supporters, writing articles and giving talks about how this cross-platform UI and logic was the way to go. However, Liquid Glass changed everything for me. While it was possible to replicate native UIs in Flutter before, it just doesn't work that way now. When you try to create this amazing frozen-liquid effect with blur, gradients, and shaders, you essentially accept that your app will run at 10 FPS. The issues with Impeller are adding up, as is the uncertainty over whether Flutter will be supported next month.

I'm happy to announce a strategic shift. From version 3 onwards, Sizzle Starter will be a Kotlin Multiplatform template! KMP offers the opportunity to share logic in Kotlin while still having native UIs. It is much more stable than Flutter on both platforms because it relies on native rendering and calling into native is so much smoother! It also supports Web and ships incredibly lightweight and performant websites.

Please take a look at this brief animation I prepared: https://github.com/hawkkiller/sizzle_starter/blob/main/kotlin-multiplatform-intro.gif

I recently visited a public hospital here in Krakow and was amazed by its size, quality, and cleanliness.

As I was leaving, I saw a sign at the entrance showing the cost of the hospital: 1,200,000,000 zloty, equivalent to around $300,000,000.

Meanwhile, investments in AI are estimated to total $3–5 trillion across the industry. Just imagine how much could have been built for the public good instead of investing in AI!

This one hospital accounts for just 0.010% of AI spending.

On other other hand, it would great if AI accelerates scientific research and help us to find cures for illnesses that we can't currently treat. Things change quickly!
