We have no evidence that suggests that any user data was leaked to the FBI or similar. However, we still migrated to a non-USA hosting provider and old databases were removed.
We also upgraded our security and user privacy protection:
- we no longer store user emails, all emails were removed
- we removed some third parties which could collect your data
- There are absolutely no logs about user activity, all traffic is encrypted, so not even your ISP sees what you are doing
- Registration IP addresses are removed every day (they were and still are salted and hashed multiple times anyways, anyone attempting to get your IP from the database would have to have the server files which contain the salt, they would have to crack tens of billions of hashes and they would have to do it on the same day you registered) - you can use VPN or Tor to hide your IP completely.
