Atp I know that nomount is very complicated and full of bugs, so I simply changed my perspective; instead of hijacking the VFS, I converted nomount into a complete VFS. This is not ready and doesn't even have a metamodule, this is highly experimental.

this is experimental, and have bugs. if you want stability, better use Zygisk Next
When updating to the latest version of KernelSU-Next, please ensure you update both the kernel and the manager. Those using LKM must also update both LKM and the manager. They cannot update only the manager, nor can they update only the kernel/LKM. Otherwise, that could cause problems.

If you cannot update the kernel/LKM, simply use an older version of the manager.
I think that instead of spreading hate or competing over "who does it best," we should help each other. Life is too hard and time is too short to waste on imaginary competitions.

Hi, I'm here to talk a little bit about what's happening with this,

NoMount is going through a refactoring phase, where I'm looking to remove some unnecessary complexity from the project and make it more stable. I have fixed serious bugs, I also corrected other bugs that miraculously didn't cause serious bootloops, and I also improved the kernel-side hooks to improve portability.

At this moment, I couldn't say that the project is stable; I would rather say it is in a functional stage. There are still some things left to fix, but everything in due time.

If you try this and find bugs or experience bootloops, please let me know so can fix it as soon as possible :)

What is the point of living life pleasing others while you are dissatisfied with yourself? Just do what makes you happy, what your heart dictates.

Hi, I wanted to come here to tell you something, which maybe no one cares about, but I still wanted to say it.

Right now I'm going through a pretty tough time in my life. A lot has happened to me in these past two weeks, like my phone screen breaking and just today, my laptop screen breaking too. But also, on a personal level, things haven't been going very well.

So I want to take some time for myself, time away from social media, time away from everything. I feel like I need to stop, to give myself a break. I'm about to graduate and that's also overwhelming me.

I appreciate everyone who cares about me, or who's interested in my latest crazy projects like NoMount, and don't think I'm going to abandon it. NoMount is the project I've learned the most from, but I simply need to rest, I need to stop.

So, well, that's it. I'll be away for as long as I need (mostly while I get my phone and laptop fixed), I hope you can understand me.

Just as little birds fly and always return to their nest,
so too should we never stop returning to our nest, to our home.
We should never forget where we come from, because at some point,
we will always need somewhere to return to.

Hi! I'm just popping in to celebrate NoMount reaching 50 stars on GitHub! ๐ŸŒŸ

That said, NoMount is getting closer to its official release, working on:

- 4.9.262, tested by ciroprogamer (https://github.com/ciroprogamer)
- 4.14.357, tested by @M73trz
- 4.14.357, tested by @MrShockWAVEog
- 5.4.254, tested by me
- 5.10.236, tested by UserXP-web (https://github.com/UserXP-web)
- 6.1.145, tested by @ZYClark (now works without issues!)

I am deeply grateful to the aforementioned testers and to everyone who has tested NoMount and left their reports. Thank you for contributing your bit to make this project increasingly stable!
