Donโt let that smiling bald guy fool ya, this candid pic hasnโt been my normal resting face lately..
We often put our โbest selfโ and messages on social media, like I also do, but 2025 has been one of my toughest years since January 7th and just before.
The loss of independence, unknowns of the near future, the waiting, the hoping, and praying for better days aheadโฆ
Iโm not alone, we also just lost my Father-in-law after 6 months of temporarily improving his medical situation and care. Still, in hindsight those last few months were a huge blessing and not a loss at all.
Some of you are also going through a storm right now, and Iโm currently highly qualified to share the same advice Iโve been giving myself every single day - donโt waste the hard/bad times and keep praying. God will use it if we allow Him to.

I really donโt know how anyone can survive certain situations in this world without God, but after experiencing so many answered prayers and blessings, I know I canโt do it. Prayer and belief in Him are superpowers that I cannot afford to waste.
If Iโm sad, I pray - mad, I pray - in pain, I pray - canโt sleep, confused, I pray. Itโs the simplest and sometimes the only option left.
So without trying to share any simplistic or preachy advice, thatโs how Iโve been getting through and itโs been helping, day by day.
Iโll share a new medical update soon which is very positive, as I hope to be about 5 weeks out from ending all of the hospital visits. Iโm still in the storm but already have a long list of blessings and stories that I expect to be sharing for years to come.
