How to Prepare for General/ Economy/ Banking Awareness for Banking Exams:
This section can be divided into three sections, Static GK, Banking Awareness, and Current Affairs.
For static Banking Awareness & static GK, refer to booklet/pdf available online of any authentic source.
● Glance through the newspaper every day. Read Business section thoroughly. Read editorials with special emphasis on articles related to Indian economy, finance, and budget.
○ You will find a lots of fodder points below the images in newspaper.
● Follow Reserve bank of India (RBI) websites religiously (Reserve Bank of India). Read FAQ of RBI Frequently Asked Questions
● Go through the current affairs of at least six months before the exam date. Read daily current Affairs, revise them weekly and monthly basis and suffice them with weekly/Monthly quizzes. You can also make notes of daily current affairs so that you can easily revise them before exam.
● Use Financial Dictionary | Investopedia for investment/stocks knowledge.
● You can also use YouTube Videos for monthly revision of current Affairs.

1. Read AffairsCloud daily current Affairs.
2. Attempt CA quizzes on various platforms/apps like Oliveboard, PracticeMock, GradeUp, adda247 application.
3. Revise monthly CA from your notes if you have prepared them from daily current affairs or from any monthly magazine.
4. You can watch monthly CA videos from Youtube and practice quizzes.
5. Attempt Full length mock tests. (PracticeMock & Oliveboard are best)
6. For last minutes revisions, refer to 500+ most probable questions of PracticeMock (released before the Mains exam)

Search ‘keyterm’ of each News on Google and look for facts around it.
Example:
If there is any ‘state’ in News, then you need to know its chief Minister, governor, its national park etc.
If any country in News then you need to know its capital, currency, PM and President. (Search the country name on Google & read the first few lines of information given by Google)
If a person is in News, know his/her profession and from where he belongs.
If any scheme has been started, know its launch date, its objectives, its features and its targets.
If there is any bank in news, know why it is in news, know where it’s headquartered is located, know its chairman, MD & CEO etc. Also, look for other related News.
If any Organization is in News, visit its website, and glance through 'about us' section of it. You should know when was it established, it works under which/whom, what work it is involved in.
