Ok. Try this question.

Chen has 888,888 IDR. He decides to allocate the money to start a small business in Malaysia.
The exchange rate is 1 MYR = 3,000 IDR.

He plans to sell two products:

Product A at RM x each, given the cost of each for Product A is RM 4
Product B at RM y each, given the cost of each for Product B is RM 8

Chen sells a units of Product A and b units of Product B. Total of product he sold is 74 units.

(a) (i) Express the total amount of money Chen invests in Malaysian Ringgit (RM).
(ii) Using the answer a(i), form a system of linear equations to represent the situation. [in whole numbers]
(iii) Using the matrix method, find the values of a and b.

(b) After selling all the products, Chen earns a profit of 8,888 IDR. Determine whether Chen makes a profit or a loss in Malaysian Ringgit (RM).
Hence, comment on whether Chen’s small business is profitable.

Chen mempunyai 888,888 IDR. Dia memutuskan untuk memperuntukkan wang tersebut bagi memulakan sebuah perniagaan kecil di Malaysia.
Kadar pertukaran mata wang ialah 1 MYR = 3,000 IDR.

Dia merancang untuk menjual dua jenis produk:

Produk A pada harga RM x seunit, RM 4 merupakan kos bagi Produk A.
Produk B pada harga RM y seunit, RM 8 merupakan kose bagi Produk B.

Chen menjual a unit Produk A dan b unit Produk B. Jumlah produk yang dijual ialah 74 unit.

(a) (i) Ungkapkan jumlah wang yang dilaburkan oleh Chen dalam Ringgit Malaysia (RM).
(ii) Dengan menggunakan jawapan (a)(i) , bentuk satu sistem persamaan linear bagi mewakili situasi tersebut. [dalam nombor penuh]
(iii) Dengan menggunakan kaedah matriks, cari nilai a dan b.

(b) Selepas menjual semua produk, Chen memperoleh keuntungan sebanyak 8,888 IDR. Tentukan sama ada Chen memperoleh keuntungan atau kerugian dalam Ringgit Malaysia (RM).
