Dear all,
In this article, we aim to assist you in deciding between self-study and joining our upcoming foundation course. Please reflect on the following questions:
1. Can you complete 80% of the syllabus in 8 months? (Consider attempting to finish geometry in 20 days for a test.)
2. Are you confident in grasping new topics like real analysis, modern algebra, rigid dynamics, and linear algebra on your own?
3. Can you identify relevant topics and subtopics without guidance?
4. Do you recognize important problems and proofs for exams, knowing which ones to prioritize memorizing?
5. Do you have a robust support system for subject assistance?
6. Can you effectively compete with those attending quality classes?
7. Are you capable of maintaining discipline throughout your preparation?
8. Have you ever scored above 260 in previous attempts?
9. Did you choose not to join coaching for JEE preparation?
10. Are you certain you won't benefit from attending classes?
11. Those who frequently excel in exams often have guidance from someone such as an elder sibling or parent. Do you have access to such support?
If your answer to these questions is no, please consider joining classes.
Best wishes!
PS: I'm addressing these questions bluntly out of concern for your future. Recommending a foundation course later becomes difficult when it might be needed now.
