Приглашаем на научную школу по теории кос и маломерной топологии «Winter Braids XI» (г. Дижон), которая пройдёт 13-17 декабря!
The school consists on four 3-hours mini-courses:
1. Surgery equivalence relations for 3-manifolds,
2. Slice knots and knot concordance,
3. On the K(π,1) problem in hyperplane arrangements,
4. Applications of quantum representations of mapping class groups.
WB11 is devoted to braids and their different applications and aspects. Besides the main lectures, there will be short talks and a poster session devoted to student presentations (not necessarily focused on braids or their generalizations).

Selected participants will be contacted to confirm their registration. We will support living expenses for all confirmed registered students and postdocs. The school will start on Monday morning and will end on Thursday at noon.

Доповідь присв’ячена описанню колективної динаміки у мережах зв’язаних фазових осциляторів Курамотівського типу. Буде показано яким чином архітектура та симетрії мережі, індивідуальна динаміка окремих елементів та функції взаємодії впливають на появу, структуру, стійкість та біфуркації різних колективних режимів (синхронізація, кластеризація, рівнорозподілені режими, протифазні режими, режими повільного перемикання між елементами, химерні стани тощо).

Доповідь присвячена знаходженню необхідних та достатніх умов існування обмежених на всій осі розв'язків еволюційних рівнянь за припущення, що відповідне однорідне рівняння є експоненціально-дихотомічним на півосях. Буде показано, що у загальному випадку лінійна породжуюча задача може бути узагальненою нормально-розв'язною, нормально-розв'язною, n-нормальною, d-нормальною, нетеровою або Фредгольмовою. Буде представлено множину розв'язків з допомогою побудованого узагальненого оператора Гріна задачі про обмежені розв'язки. Наведено умови існування хаосу в складних системах.

Abstract: We will discuss the recovery of multivariate functions from reproducing kernel Hilbert spaces in the uniform norm. We study a certain weighted least squares algorithm that uses the so-called ''standard information'', i.e., finite number of function values at some points. The main advantage of our approach is that the nodes are taken at random w.r.t. a tailored distribution and simultaneously for the whole class of functions. We show that the considered deterministic algorithm leads to near optimal results in several relevant situations. We additionally apply a recently introduced sub-sampling technique to further reduce the sampling budget.
