And you know what? It worked.

Finally, it got so quiet and nice!
Another good advice:

If you don’t like something — tell about that. Tell directly to that person. Don’t talk about him at his back with other people.

Try to be honest. And always say it to person, personally.

It’s hard.

Yeah, the person might not like your words, but the main thing you will be honest to yourself. You will stand for yourself.

That’s what matters. Respect yourself. If you won’t respect yourself, then other will treat you like a piece
of shit.

And there won’t be no respect from others.

Respect yourself first.
I bought a new notebook 📓
First advice in learning English by yourself — know the reason why you need to know English.

You gotta have strong reason. You should understand why you want to know English. Maybe you want to study in USA, maybe you wanna work in states, or you just want to go abroad.

Why you need English???

I wanna try myself in writing solid books which will last longer than my life, maybe acting, do public speaking to inspire others, and to have a lot of friends from all over the world. Those are my goals and reasons why I need good English.

What are yours? Answer this question and you won’t have a problem of finding a motivation to do the study.

Otherwise you’ll never speak in English.
Don’t waste your time!
All right guys, I will stop recording my face so often. I bet you are already tired of seeing it every time lol.

I just wanna say, keep dreaming, keep working toward YOUR goals, especially when it seems so hard to keep going.

I am not a perfect person. I have my ups (when I feel INSPIRED and I have the momentum to live and work everyday with ENTHUSIASM), and downs (when I feel like SHIT, I am scared of everything, when in my head there’s only NEGATIVE thoughts, etc.)

But no matter what, you always should try to do your BEST. That’s what MATTERS.

Be yourself.
Tell your truth.
Work hard, smart and long hours.
Be a good person.

And believe me,
everything happens for a reason.

Bye-bye

Most of the time life is all about competition. Let’s face it. Competition with everyone, but especially with yourself.

But if we are talking about a general competition with the people, I wanna say that:

Don’t fear the competition. Make the competition fear you.
Remember kids, it’s okay to fail. Because sometimes you fail so hard that your failure becomes a success in another form.
I FUCKING LOVED IT
Basically, I wanted to say that your thoughts and desires are real. If you really want something, you will finally get it.

If you’re willing to do anything, if you’re willing to go through hell, through any shit, then it’s a real dream. If you think that you are lazy, or you are so busy that you don’t have time to do that, or if you feel you’re too afraid to do that, and so on.. it’s not because you’re lazy, it’s because that’s not a real dream. It’s just a wish. That’s it. Everyone is lazy. Everyone has fears. Everyone is busy. But that’s actually when it shows is it a real dream or not?! When your desire of achieving your dream is stronger than your laziness, fears, and you can always find some time in your busy schedule to do that, that is a dream. That’s what makes your dream real.

1. Know yourself. Believe in yourself. Listen to your gut. Your intuition. Be self-aware.

2. Work really hard. Work smart. Dream strategically. Have a plan of how you’re gonna achieve it.

I’m following that. And I’m sure I’m gonna get there. It’s just a matter of time. You will see.
Making some notes for myself. Just to make sure that I’ll keep remembering these feelings
Books

As I remember myself, I started reading intentionally when I was 15 or something like that. I remember my first book I read was “Crime and Punishment”, it’s Dostoyevsky’s book. It’s a pretty tough book to read for the first time, but my desire to read and finish this book was much stronger.

After that, I became addicted to books. Reading is kinda like some sort of therapy for me, it brings me into the right headspace. Although I am not like a crazy reader, I read when I want to read, I don’t usually push myself.

Who likes to read books here? If you do like reading, text me your favorite one, I’d be happy to talk with you about it :) @TimurKann
Traveling

Traveling is another thing that I just love doing. And I know everyone would say they love traveling too, but I mean like really.. I don’t need to go to a fancy or famous place to enjoy traveling. I could basically go anywhere, if it’s place I’ve never been to, I would love to go there and explore it anyway.

Every time I travel, it makes me feel alive, you know what I mean?! Sometimes it’s just nice to get out of your city(or even country) for a while, to kinda refresh your mind. When you travel and explore new things, you also learn things about yourself.

Which I think is even more important than the traveling itself.
Weed

So now I’m staying in Great Barrington, it’s a small cute town in Massachusetts. And like a year ago they legalized marijuana. I already got some good stuff for myself, because I can’t miss the opportunity to try it.

And you know what, yesterday I got so stoned, I was lying on the ground watching stars in the sky with the headphones on, listening to the beautiful instrumental music. I was out of my head. I thought I’m in the space, literally. I thought I could reach to the stars with my hands. I’m definitely doing that again. Need your opinion, what do you think about marijuana?

Is it good or bad?
Lucky

Do you guys believe in luck? I think yeah, there is such a thing called luck, and I’m pretty sure that everyone has that in their life.

There is a good saying that says “Luck favores the well prepared”, which means luck likes those who is prepared to take the opportunity. But in order to be prepared you gotta work consistently everyday, and when the opportunity will show up(trust me it will) you will take that opportunity right away.
Fever

FUCK!!!!! I got sick 🤒 On my last day of break I got a fever 🥵 now on my first day of work I don’t feel good. I hate being sick!!!!!

Especially when I have a performance next week, and I have to rehearse everyday, it’s so hard.. not the best time to get sick. God help me.
Spontaneous

I like being spontaneous sometimes. Like today for example: I’m going with my friend to New-York city to audition for the Metropolitan Opera, they need male ballet dancers. And we decided to do that last night!

First of all today we had to be at work, and we said that we don’t feel good, so we asked for the day off. I actually don’t feel well, because I have a fever. Originally my friend is auditioning and I said I’ll go with him just for fun.

I don’t know why I’m going, I could’ve just stayed, I don’t know... even if there is no logical reason of me going today just for one day to New York when I’m sick(I’m actually, surprisingly feeling better), it just feels like doing it. It’s probably stupid of me doing that.

But that’s why it’s nice to be spontaneous sometimes, especially when you’re young. Not questioning your impulses. Usually your impulses are right and they know what you actually need to do, and what is actually better for you.
Decision

The strong person is the one who is willing to make hard decisions. Who actually does make hard decisions. Its all personal, everyone has some sort of decisions in their lives, when they have to decide something that seems hard for them.

And you gotta make sure that you make a decision to do something about it. Not doing anything about it is also a decision. And when you already made a decision, stop thinking and worrying about that, move forward!
Hey people it’s been a while since I posted something in here. I’ve got a lot of stuff going on in my life right now. Also, my mood swings up and down like every other minute. I could feel really happy, than suddenly my mood just drops and I could feel stress with some kinda fear. I don’t know why, it’s weird.

I feel like mentally I became a lot weaker than I used to be. Probably, it has something to do with me missing my family, home, friends. It’s just fucking hard. But of coarse I will get through that. It’s not that big of a deal.

Now I think, I’m gonna be writing more in English, than in Russian. I need to try to focus more on that, starting using less Russian language, so I could get to the point where I will start to think in English. Because now I could easily speak English, I could pretty much understand anything in English, I could read in English, I could write in English. Now I should start to think in English.

That’s my next goal.

Ps. Hope you guys are having some improvements in your journey of learning English as well. Well, if you understood everything in this text, that means your English is already good!
