What If The Earth Stopped Rotatingβ
β At the equator, the surface of the Earth and everything on it is rotating at 465 meters per second. This speed gradually decreases as you proceed closer to the pole. As soon as Earth stops rotating, everything on the Earth (except at the pole) would continue moving as it had been. The following are the scenarios that will most likely happen.
Your body would fly east at the supersonic speed of 465 meters per second if youβre near the equator. You can only survive at the poles (for a few seconds). There will be giant tsunamis, and all water will start moving towards the pole.Half of the Earth would be completely exposed to the sun, which would raise the temperature, and the other half would freeze.
And yes, the most important thing: you would gain weight by 0.3 percent.

π¦πΆThe Dog and the Wolf
A hungry wolf was on the prowl. He met a dog passing by and requested him for some food. The dog took pity on the wolf and said, βCousin, you should also work for a master like me. You will be given good food every day.β The wolf agreed to go with the dog to his masterβs place so that he could share the dogβs work. On the way, the wolf noticed that the hair on a certain part of the dogβs neck was worn away.
He asked the dog how that happened. βOh,β the dog replied, βits just a little thing thatβs happened because of the collar thatβs put to chain me every night. Earlier it used to annoy me but now Iβm used to it so it hardly matters.β On hearing this the wolf said, βI think this is not the right place for me to work in, so I am leaving.β
The wolf thought that it is better to be free and starve than to be a slave and eat well. He thought that he was better off than the dog and went away.
