I Don't Want to Be a Master Anymore.

For a long time, I wanted to be like my mentors — the masters of their craft.

People like Melvin Soh (9-figures in sales), Bryan Ang (8-figures behind the top trainers), Stuart Tan (legendary NLP coach).

I've invested $150,000+ learning from them.

But recently, I realized something that changed everything about how I see my business...

And it's NOT about becoming a master myself.

I’m a "Coder" now!!! 🥳

Well... sort of HAHA

Last night, I spent 3 hours building an AI biz + life coaching bot using Claude Code. Considering I used to suck at Excel formulas, this felt like a miracle hahah

But before you rush off to do the same, hear this:

👉 You do NOT need to learn this right now.

I’m treating this as a fun experiment for my downtime. It is NOT my core priority for this quarter and I have zero guilt or worry about that.

If seeing new tech gives you FOMO or makes you feel "behind"... It just means you aren't clear on your own Strategic Priorities.

There are a million cool strategies out there. The only one that matters is the one that fits YOU.

If you want to stop ever feeling FOMO and get clear on YOUR personal gameplan..."#MIB" and let’s get you focused once & for all.

Happy Monday!

"Why do some people get massive results while others stay stuck?"

This question haunted me for years.

After helping 1200+ folks and 10+ years in this space, I realized the answer isn't about strategy or motivation.

It's something far simpler — and it's the same thing that helped me scale my lifestyle business to 20 hours a week while still having fun during stressful times.

Last week, I put everything I've learned into a private training.

And now I'm giving it away as a bonus.

"I loved today because you were present the entire time."

That's what my ex-girlfriend (now wife) Sharon said after I took her out for an entire day.

I almost teared up because it hit me so hard.

You see, we had been spending loads of time together. Going out. Eating meals. Exercising.

But I wasn't truly present.

I could blame work — it was a busy season with massive opportunities.

But that's when I made a commitment that changed everything...

The #1 Most Powerful Framework I Learned from Warren Buffett

Most people think of Warren Buffett as an amazing investor.

But what most don't realise is he's an even better decision-maker.

It's called the Punchcard Theory — and it changed how I approach every major choice in business and life.

She Quit Her 7-Figure Agency to Move to New York. (Here's What I Learned)

Last week, I attended a sharing by a Singaporean powerhouse who quit her 7-figure agency to build a content studio in NYC.

She's helped scale 100+ brands to 7-8 figures using powerful storytelling.

Naturally, I was excited to learn from her & waiting for the "Secret Hack."

But after her presentation, I felt a little confused.

"Wait... I've heard most of this before."

She was teaching things I already knew & even shared with clients myself.

And then... it hit me like a slap in the face.

If I "knew" all of this... why wasn't I getting her results?

I'm 34 this year, and I'm a bit embarrassed to admit this.

1. I'm not a millionaire yet.

I've invested over $150K in programs, coaching, and mentorship.
Some of the people I learned from? They've built 8-figure empires.

Me? I've generated close to 7 figures online... but I'm not there yet.

And when I see peers my age (or younger) crushing it harder than me or flexing their results online... part of me feels like I should be further along.

Some of it was my own doing. Over-investing. Poor allocation. Not-so-smart financial decisions.

But I'm learning. And I'm building something sustainable... not just impressive on paper.

𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐭𝐡𝐞 "𝐖𝐡𝐲 𝐈'𝐦 𝐍𝐨𝐭 𝐃𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐈𝐭" 𝐅𝐥𝐨𝐰𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐭!!

"I know what to do...but I just can't seem to do it."

This is one of the most common things even my top clients tell me. And when it happens, they assume they're lazy, broken, or need a better system.

But after 2,200+ coaching calls, I've found that's almost never the real reason.

So I created a simple diagnostic framework that walks you through exactly what's actually blocking you — and the specific action to take based on it.

It's helped clients generate multiple 5-6 figures, get consistent with their health, and be more present with their families. It's also what helped me lose weight and become a better dad.

You're doing everything right... and it's the problem.

Everyone has a piece of the puzzle…but nobody has YOUR puzzle.

Think about it...

You've probably heard all the "secrets to success":

Think big. Be disciplined. Read more books. Build systems. Master sales. Learn AI. Network. Find a mentor. Be grateful. Manage your cash flow...

And you know what? You SHOULD be doing those things.
But here's what I've learned after 2,200+ coaching calls & serving 150+ clients:

You can be GREAT at many of these things and still not achieve the finances & life you badly want.

Not because you’re lazy or incapable.

But because the real skill isn't just knowing WHAT to do.

It's knowing which ones matter for YOU... right now.

As Hormozi says: massive Information Overload, Implementation Underload.

I'd add one thing:

The overload isn't just information. It's OPTIONS.

Too many "right" things competing for your limited time and energy….which will get worse in the years to come.

You don't need another list of strategies.

You need someone to help you figure out which 3-5 things actually move the needle for YOUR situation, in THIS season of your life.

That's the difference between taking action to achieve every goal you set…versus missing the mark every single time.

You got this.

— Marc

P.S. This is exactly why I created the Master Implementer Blueprint workshop.

Not another course. Not another content dump. One focused session designed to help you:

→ Get clear on your ACTUAL priorities (not what you think they should be)
→ Identify the 3-5 decisions that will move the needle this quarter
→ Design a simple weekly structure that supports execution without burnout → Build the mental models that make decision-making easier — for life
→ Walk away with a personalised action plan you can implement immediately

This workshop has helped 1,200+ entrepreneurs stop spinning and start building with clarity.

We're closing registrations this week: and once we do, I genuinely don't know when we'll run it again. I keep it small intentionally so everyone gets real attention, not just a replay.

If you've been sitting on this... don't wait until the doors close and wish you'd moved.

Reply #MIB and I'll send you the link.
24 hours left: turn your 2026 into a 10/10

Listen…

Registration closes tomorrow at 7:30pm SGT.

This is not “fake” urgency as the workshop starts Thursday night, and I need time to prep personalized guidance for each participant.

Here’s what I know about you:

You started 2026 with drive. You set goals. You took action.

But if I asked you right now: “On a scale of 1-10, how confident are you that you’ll hit your 2026 goals?”

Your answer probably isn’t a 10.

And here’s the thing…

We’re already in February.

If nothing changes in the next 24 hours, what makes you think March, April or May will be different?

The same patterns that got you here will keep you here.

The same lack of structure. The same reliance on willpower. The same “I’ll figure it out as I go” approach.

Think about it.

You’ve got 24 hours to decide on my first “no brainer” invitation for 2026:

https://www.marcteo.com/mib-workshop

You also have zero risk as we’ve a 100% money back-guarantee too.

See you :)

Marc

P.S. Practically speaking, you have two paths:

Path 1: Keep doing what you’re doing. Stay busy. Stay hopeful. And 90 days from now, you’ll say the same thing you said last year: “It’s been tough, but I’m working on it.”

Path 2: Install the operating system. Walk away Thursday night (or after the recording) with your Perfect Week Blueprint, your Daily 5, and the exact accountability systems I used to scale past 6-figures while working 20-30 hours/week.

You’ll be using an installed system to use for life.

So ask yourself:

In 90 days, do you want to look back and think…

“I’m so glad I showed up”

Or…

“I should’ve just done it”

$7 isn’t the risk. Staying stuck is.

Yesterday, I had the hardest coaching call of my life.

And nope I wasn’t the coach, I was the client 😂

Because I had 1 rule during the call:

→ Only talk about my feelings & NOT what I think.

It was tough because it’s something I’m not used to.

But as we got into the session, I realised so much stuff I didn’t know before:

I actually MISS my father. I never cried when he passed but I do miss him.

I am afraid of showing my vulnerability even to my own wife.

(Note: I can SAY what I’m vulnerable about, but I don’t like to SHOW it. There’s a difference)

it’s been hard because my strongest identity is that I’m a “happy go lucky” guy.

Which means everything that doesn’t fit into that, I avoid or surpress.

I always quickly label my emotions which I’m used to already saying.

Abit more advanced, but personally, I tend to quickly use the words excited, happy, sad, angry etc to describe how I feel.
Which limits the variety of emotions I experience.

So moving forward, I’ll be more curious & start noticing the other emotions that come out for me too.
==
Sharing my journey about using my heart / emotions more so I can be a better husband, dad, and also coach & mentor to my clients, and hopefully share some of my biggest lessons along the way.

I can give all the best systems & strategies, but sometimes people need to be heard more than anything else.

And I can’t fully connect with people I want to help..if I can’t connect with myself first.

Hope this raw sharing helps & hopefully inspires you to explore what you might’ve been avoiding too.

Have a great weekend ahead all 💙

The Real Reason Your Content & DMs Feels Heavy

I almost didn't send a CNY wish this year.

My first thought — "Post CNY for what? Everybody also post CNY. It's going to look the same."

So I didn't do it. Day one passed. Day two passed.

Then during a long car ride... it hit me.

That whole "why bother" energy?

That's not strategic. That's selfish.

"Everyone sends the same thing" — that's about ME.
"I'll look boring" — that's about ME.
"It won't stand out" — that's about ME.

Not once did I think about the person receiving it.

The moment I flipped that... the energy completely changed.
And this is the exact same trap I see with content, DMs, promotions — everything.

After working with 150+ clients across coaching, consulting, and service businesses... this pattern shows up almost every time someone tells me "I just can't be consistent with content."

It's never about discipline.

"Nobody's going to read this."
"I've said this before."
"People will think I'm selling."
Know why it feels so heavy?

Because you're thinking about yourself.

The moment you shift to "what does this person need to hear today?" — everything changes.

One of my clients was dreading his follow-up emails after a workshop. "Marc, I can't send seven reminders. I'll go crazy." I told him — what if none of them were reminders? What if every email was genuinely valuable... and you just happened to put a PS with the link?

His whole energy shifted. Went from avoiding his inbox to actually enjoying the process.

Your content gets easier. Your DMs stop feeling pushy. Your promotions stop feeling salesy.

Because you're not performing anymore. You're serving.

When you focus on yourself, you drain.

When you focus on them, you fuel.

So next time that voice says "why bother"...

Ask yourself: am I thinking about me right now? Or am I thinking about them?

That one question changes everything.

You got this.

— Marc
⚠️PSA: Stop Having Low Tolerance for Low Standards.

Some harsh truths (with love) from a convo with someone I care about today.

→ STOP taking massive action only when you're in "survival" mode.
→ STOP asking for help only when things are looking bad.
→ STOP confronting the important tasks only when you feel fearful.
→ STOP DMing & posting content only if you want to sell something.
→ STOP having low tolerance for average results.

If you want to achieve your goals & dreams, Raise Your Standards.

While it's uncomfortable or challenging...it'll be worth it.

So many of us are not living to the potential we can or making the money we want simply because we've low standards.

The best time to do this is yesterday. The best time is now.

You got this everyone
Someone offered to invest in my company a few years ago.

I almost said yes.

Part of me felt I was crazy to refuse as saying yes would mean:

- Thousands of additional leads overnight
- Cashflow to fund my growth
- Someone with decades of experience in my corner
- A whole team backing me up

I was so tempted.

But having spent 3+ years in the tech startup space & facilitating millions of dollars in funding, I'd heard enough stories to know what tends to happen.

Founders who take investment start listening to investors. They feel indebted. They slowly lose control over the very thing they built.

So I said no.

I didn't fully understand why at the time. I just knew something felt off.
Fast forward to today as a new dad...

I take impromptu lunches with my wife.
I travel when I want.
I spend time with my son whenever I feel like it.
I enjoy the work I do with clients (instead of being pressured to sell 24/7)

After working with 150+ private clients across 30+ industries, I observed this:

👉 The people who "won" on paper often lose the thing they were building for.

Because saying yes might have meant faster growth..but it also likely meant:

→ Legal obligations they didn't sign up for
→ Making money in ways I didn't agree with
→ Working with people I didn't actually like
→ Handing control of my business to forces outside myself

Does part of me still wonder "what if"? Of course.

But if another investment opportunity came tomorrow?

I'd probably say no again.

Because I want to build something I genuinely believe in.

And that... is a life worth living for.

#MasterImplementers

P.S. Over the past few weeks, I've been preparing for a live workshop where I run the exact diagnostic process I use with private clients paying $5K-$20K+.

In short, participants walk away knowing exactly what's holding them back, their exact 3-5 moves for immediate breakthroughs, & my best practices to launch & scale a lifestyle business. Stay tuned for details😉

Why you're doing everything right... but still not making money.

Had a coaching call yesterday with a client who's been stuck for weeks. Smart guy, driven, knows his stuff. He's got leads, he's making calls, he's showing up every day.

But the money's not coming in.

So I asked him a simple question: "Out of every 100 people you talk to... how many do you actually invite to a meeting?"

Silence.

"...not a lot, to be honest."

And that's when I found the real problem.

It wasn't his pitch. It wasn't his offer. It wasn't his market. He just wasn't asking people to take the next step.

He was having great conversations, building trust, connecting with people... and then just stopping. Walking away without ever making the invite.

Why?

Because in his head, he kept telling himself things like "this person probably isn't ready" or "I don't want to come across as pushy" or "the timing doesn't feel right."

But none of that was based on anything real. It was all just a feeling. And that one feeling was quietly costing him thousands of dollars every single month.

I see this all the time.

People who are working hard, showing up, doing all the "right things"... but avoiding the one thing that actually brings in money. The ask. The invite.

The follow-up. That uncomfortable moment where you put yourself out there and risk hearing "no."

Everything else? That's just being busy.

So I gave him a simple challenge: for the next two weeks, if someone shows any interest at all, just invite them.

Don't overthink it. Don't judge whether they're "ready." Just ask.

Because sometimes the reason you're stuck isn't that your strategy is wrong. It's that you're not doing enough of the one thing that actually works.

A friend of mine got 300 people to sign up for his workshop. I asked him how. His answer? "We just promoted it more. Started earlier. Posted more often. That's it."

No fancy funnel. No secret trick. Just more volume on the thing that matters.

So here's my question for you today:

Are you actually doing the uncomfortable thing that moves the needle? Or are you just keeping busy with everything around it?

You got this.

#masterimplementers

P.S. This is exactly the kind of thing we figure out together in my 6P Lifestyle Business Blueprint workshop — where you're ACTUALLY stuck vs where you think you are. I'm running a free one next month.

Comment #LBB if you want the details and I'll send them over.

[Announcement]: The 2026 Lifestyle Business Blueprint Workshop (AI Tools Included)

I did something a little crazy over the past few months.

I uploaded all my coaching and workshop data: 2,200+ calls, 150+ private clients across 30+ industries, 2,000+ pieces of content, every framework I've built over the years...

And I asked 3 questions:
1. What are the most common reasons entrepreneurs get stuck?
2. What am I best at helping people with?
3. What do people NEED the most in 2026 and beyond?

The answer surprised me.

It's not strategy. It's not tactics. It's not "more knowledge."

👉 Most entrepreneurs are simply solving the WRONG problem.

In 2026, doing things the "right" way has never been easier. AI tools everywhere. Information abundance. Courses, templates, frameworks for literally everything.

So the bottleneck isn't knowing WHAT to do anymore.

It's that people are doing the WRONG things: pouring effort into the wrong area for months, sometimes years, and wondering why nothing changes.

They think it's their marketing. It's actually their offer.
They think it's their content. It's actually their outreach.
They think they need to work harder. It's actually their beliefs and energy.

The strategy was never the problem. The diagnosis was.

Which is why I'm running a live virtual workshop specifically for this.

📢The Lifestyle Business Blueprint Workshop

2.5 hours. Live on Zoom. Limited slots.

This is for you if:

You're a coach, consultant, trainer, or service provider starting out or making below $10K/month
You've invested in yourself, you've been showing up, but your income isn't matching your effort.

Or you're already making money but something's off

Capped at the same revenue, tested new offers and funnels, still stuck in the same pattern. Maybe you've accidentally built a business that looks great on the outside but feels like a trap on the inside.

Here's what happens when you register:

A. I'll walk you through the 6P Lifestyle Business Blueprint — the same diagnostic I've used with private clients paying $5K-$20K+ — to pinpoint exactly where your business is stuck.

B. Then we'll map your top 3-5 needle movers for the next 90 days. Specific to you. Not 47 tactics from 12 different courses.

C. I'll also share my best practices and latest strategies across AI, sales, marketing, content, offer design, energy management, and more — so you don't have to repeat the mistakes I did.

D. And I'll coach people live on the spot: on anything from sales and marketing to AI, content, strategy, focus, energy, beliefs, and mindset.

Plus when you register you get:

→ Lifetime access to my custom 6P Blueprint Template
→ Early preview access to my upcoming book
→ 6 AI-powered business diagnostic prompts I personally created & use

And so...

If you'd like to grow your business & map your exact path using the same blueprint that helped me generate 7-figures, work ~20 hours/week & be present for family...

Drop "LBB" below if you want more details.

You got this.

#MasterImplementers

P.S. I ran this exact diagnostic with a client who was convinced her content was the problem. Thirty minutes in, we discovered it was actually her outreach.

Less than 12 months later, she generated $950K. Same effort. Right diagnosis.
1
Most coaches give advice.

I gave this client a diagnosis to scale past 6-figures.

Had a call with a young fitness coach. Six paying clients. $1,500 per package. Posting content. Doing outreach daily.

Doing everything "right." Still stuck.

Within 10 minutes, I saw the pattern I've seen hundreds of times across 2,200+ coaching calls.

Skills? Check. Work ethic? Check. Proof he can deliver? Check.

But three things were keeping him stuck at $1-5K months.

1. His content had expertise... but zero connection.

Tips. Advice. Breakdowns. Good content. Forgettable content.

I asked him: "What's ONE thing that feels a little vulnerable but you'd be willing to share?"

He paused. Then said: "How I used to be super insecure and scared of going to gyms because people would judge me."

That's the post that changes everything for him. Not another "5 tips for fat loss." The story of a fitness coach who was once terrified to walk into a gym.

Content needs four ingredients to generate inbound leads: Credibility, Expertise, Connection, and Offer.

Most people have two. Almost nobody has all four.

2. His offer had no runway.

One tier. One price. Every new client is a fresh hunt from zero.

Simple restructure: 3-month, 6-month, 12-month options. More cash flow upfront, longer relationships, less pressure to constantly hunt.

Your offer should create recurring revenue, not one-time transactions.

3. He was solving the wrong problem.

He thought his problem was content ideas and boring outreach.

The real block? He wasn't expressing himself. He was performing.

This is exactly why I built psychology directly into my methodology. Strategy without inner game is like a sports car with the handbrake on. Rev all you want. You're going nowhere fast.

By the end of our call...

He didn't just have a content plan and a better offer.

He had clarity on WHY things felt heavy. And a framework to build a business that energizes him instead of drains him.

That's what I do differently.

I don't just fix your funnel. I fix the foundation.

Internal clarity first. Strategic precision second.

Because after generating close to $1M from my own coaching business, helping 150+ private clients across 30+ industries, and doing this while being present for Sharon and Baby K...

The thing that made all of that possible wasn't a magic funnel.

It was getting ruthlessly clear on what actually matters — then building systems around that clarity.

So ask yourself:

Are you working harder on the same things?

Or are you finally ready to work on the RIGHT things?

You got this.

P.S. This is exactly what I do in my upcoming LIVE Lifestyle Business Blueprint Workshop — I'll personally walk you through the same 6P diagnostic I use with private clients paying $5K-$20K+ and help you identify YOUR real bottleneck and next 3-5 moves. Reply "LBB" if you want to find out more.
Years ago, I almost quit coaching.

Not because I wasn't getting clients.

Because I was terrified I wasn't good enough for them.

My first few clients paid me thousands of dollars. And instead of feeling proud... I panicked.

"What if they don't get results?" "What if they realize I'm not worth it?"

So I called my mentor. Told him everything.

He asked one question.

"Did you ask them?"

I said no.

He looked at me like I was stupid.

"Then ask them."

So I did a client survey. Asked every single one how they felt.

Every. Single. One. Was happy.

Getting results. Wanting to stay. Grateful for the support.

The entire crisis was in my head.

I was so consumed by what I THOUGHT they felt... that I never asked what they ACTUALLY felt.

If you're a coach, consultant, or service provider — I guarantee you've felt this before.

That quiet voice: "Am I really good enough?" "What if someone asks for a refund?"

Here's what 2,200+ coaching calls and 150+ private clients taught me:

The fear never fully goes away. But the question changes.

From "Am I good enough?"

To "Did I do right by them?"

And that one you can actually answer.

Did I check in? Did I follow up when they went quiet? Did I give them my best?

Not every client will get results. Some have life stuff. Some don't take action. Some aren't the right fit.

But there's a difference between dropping the ball... and life happening.
Your job isn't to guarantee outcomes. Your job is to do right by people. Every time.

That's why I still do one-to-one calls with every client personally. Is it scalable? Not really. But people can say a lot of things about me — they can never say I didn't try my best.

So if you're sitting on skills and proof that you can help people... but holding back because of a fear that lives entirely in your head...

Ask them. Ask the people you've helped.

I think you'll be surprised by what they say.

You got this.

P.S. This is exactly the kind of inner block I help entrepreneurs break through inside my LIVE Lifestyle Business Blueprint Workshop — we don't just cover strategy, we diagnose what's really holding you back, including the stuff between your ears. Reply "LBB" if you want to find out more.
Yesterday, I paid $720 for a TCM visit.

The funny thing is, this place has a 1.5-month waitlist!

The consultation itself was less than $100, but by the time we finished the acupuncture, red light treatment, and custom natural remedies, the bill was $700+.

And I didn't hesitate for a second.

Because this TCM doctor didn't give me generic advice — she analyzed my health history, my DNA reports, and did a deep time-analysis of my internal systems.

She diagnosed things I suspected but was choosing to ignore.

And it reminded me of a rule I live by that's changed everything — not just for my health, but for my marriage, my business, and how I show up as a father.

My client said something today that most entrepreneurs completely miss.

"I realized that everyone who signs up with me... already knows me."

Not from a viral reel.
Not from a lead magnet.
Not from some fancy funnel.

They signed up because they met him. They saw him show up. They watched how he led.

He runs a small community. Monthly walks. Casual meetups. Nothing flashy.

And yesterday, something happened that stopped him mid-sentence.
One of his clients — unprompted — started promoting his coaching to a new person at the event.

"HE is my coach."

Four words. Zero ad spend. No pitch required.

Know why that happened?

Because he wasn't trying to sell. He was trying to serve.

He showed up consistently. Led with generosity. Created space for people to connect.

And the people around him did the marketing for him.

Listen...

Most entrepreneurs are obsessed with reach.

More followers. More content. More visibility.

But the entrepreneurs I see scaling fastest?

They're obsessed with depth.

Deeper relationships. Deeper trust. Deeper connection with fewer people — who then bring more people to them.

This is something I've seen across 2,200+ coaching calls and 150+ private clients:

The fastest path to more clients isn't always more content.

Sometimes it's more conversations.

More showing up. More "hey, how are you doing?" More being the person people think of when someone asks "do you know a good coach?"

Because here's the truth...

People don't buy from the person with the most content.

They buy from the person they trust the most.

And trust isn't built through algorithms.

It's built through presence.

As a father running a business that's generated close to $1M while being present for Sharon and Baby K...

The thing that built this business wasn't going viral.

It was going deep.

Deep with clients. Deep with relationships. Deep with the people who already know me — so they never stop talking about the work we do together.

So ask yourself:

Are you chasing more strangers...

Or are you going deeper with the people already in your world?

Because sometimes the fastest way to grow your business isn't louder.
It's closer.

You got this.

P.S. This is exactly what I walk entrepreneurs through inside my LIVE Lifestyle Business Blueprint Workshop — how to identify whether your real bottleneck is leads, depth, offer, or something else entirely. I use the same 6P diagnostic I run with private clients paying $5K-$20K+. Reply "LBB" if you want to find out more.
