Memories over Money
(What my mom taught me about true success...)
As I write this, I'm on a plane to Finland with my mom.
It's her bucket list trip - she's always wanted to see the northern lights.
Truthfully? Part of me was initially reluctant to go. I wanted to stay back, create content, help my clients, keep learning and upgrading.
Then my mom said something that hit hard:
"Don't know how many years I have left."
She said it jokingly, but it struck deep. My dad passed away from cancer 5+ years ago, and those memories flooded back.
Now that I finally have the money and time freedom I worked so hard for, what am I really going to do with it?
Sure, this trip might "delay" my business growth. I might hit certain goals a bit later than planned.
But you know what? I'm completely at peace with that.
Here's what I've learned: Don't let yourself get pressured by arbitrary deadlines or society's definition of success. I'd rather retire later and enjoy these precious moments than retire early but miss out on what truly matters.
This is what being a Master Implementer is really about - you decide how you want to live your life, and your actions align with your true values.
