How a Brand-New Life Coach Made 4-Figures in 2 Weeks

Wanted to write a quick post to celebrate what happened with one of my newest clients.

You see, Laris joined my program just 2 weeks ago.

Prompt for tonight to reflect on: what’s one thing you are grateful for?

My ego took a hit on LinkedIn this week.

After posting every single weekday for the past week, I found the engagement was nowhere close to what I usually get on other platforms.

And you know what?

Old me would have been super nervous, worried, and maybe even upset about it.

But today, I smiled because this experience reminded me of one of the most powerful lessons in business & life:

Being a beginner is a gift.

Made my first 5-figures in 2020. Instead of celebrating, I was terrified.

"How will I deliver?"
"What if people think I'm not good enough?"
"Can I really help these people?"

Classic imposter syndrome hit hard.

Then my mentor asked me one simple question that changed everything:

"Did you actually ask them?"

That's when I discovered the power of market data.

Created a simple survey, and the results shocked me - my clients were not just getting results, they were staying with me for years.

Reality was completely different from what my mind was telling me.

A quick reflection to share...

Just had an interesting conversation about digital networking that made me realize something powerful.

For the longest time, I resisted digital networking. I saw it as something that would take away from my deep work - creating content, building playbooks, serving clients.
But here's what changed:

I realized I was creating a false choice. It wasn't networking OR deep work. With the right structure, it could enhance everything else I was doing.

This is what being a Master Implementer is all about - finding ways to maximize opportunities while staying aligned with what truly matters.

The key? Being intentional.

Instead of "networking for networking's sake," I now spend 15 minutes daily engaging with content that genuinely resonates. Not because I have to, but because it actually enhances my work through expanded perspectives.

My simple approach:

Clear time boundaries
Focus on authentic engagement
Prioritizing resonant content
Maintaining creation as the primary focus

The bigger lesson? Sometimes what we resist isn't the activity itself, but the unstructured way we think it has to be done.
