Masjid At-Tarbiyah
🔹 Masjid At-Tarbiyah Presents: The Code of the Scholars 🔸

📚 Following the completion of ‘Umdatul Fiqh, we begin the next phase in the Tarbiyah Fiqh & Uṣūl Curriculum, commencing with one of the most comprehensive and classical texts in Hanbali Law: Zād al-Mustaqni’ fī Ikhtiṣār al-Muqni’, authored by Imām al-Hajjāwi (رحمه الله) (d. 968 A.H.). A summary of al-Muqni’ by the great Imām and Jurist ibn Qudāmah al-Maqdisī (رحمه الله) (d. 620 A.H.).

💫The Messenger of Allāh (ص) mentioned that ‘He who Allāh wants goodness for, He will grant him Fiqh of his religion’

Shaykh ibn Uthaymīn (رحمه الله) mentioned about this book: ‘This is one of the best texts of Fiqh. This is a common book, brief and blessed. Our master, the scholar Shaykh ‘Abdur-Rahmān as-Sa'di (رحمه الله) recommended its memorisation’

Shaykh Bakr Abū Zayd (رحمه الله) said in al-Madkhal al-Mufaṣal: ‘Zād al-Mustaqni' fī Ikhtiṣar al-Muqni' is the text that came to be considered as the main source for the study of the Hanbali madhab (school of law) and quintessential for the student...’

Shaykh Muhammad ibn al-Mukhtār ash-Shinqitī (حفظه الله) said that, ‘Whoever memorises Zād (Zād al-Mustaqni’) he is able to judge between the people.’

Some scholars also mentioned that, ‘The texts of Zād and Bulugh (Bulugh al-Maram); Suffīce for one to attain the level of ‘genius.’

🗓 Commencing every Tuesdays beginning from the 2nd July 2019 at 19:30.

🎙 Taught by Shaykh Abu Muhammad Saleh
(Islamic University of Madinah)

📜 Shaykh Abu Muhammad Saleh Graduated from the Faculty of Shari’ah (Islamic Law and Theology) at the prestigious Islamic University of Madinah.
