*Goldman Sachs sees Brent at $90 by Dec*
Oil price rise for a fifth straight day on Monday with Brent at its highest since Oct 2018 and heading for $80 amid supply concerns as demand picks up in parts of world with easing of Pandemic restrictions. Brcrude was up $1.63 or 2.1% to hit $79.72 a barrel during the day, having posted three straight weeks of gains.
*ICRA revises up FY22 GDP forecast to 9%*
Credit rating agency ICRA on Monday revised up its FY22 real GDP growth estimates for India to 9% from earlier 8.5%. It expects H2FY22 to have brighter prospects. It can be noted that after the 7.3% contraction in 2020-21 there were expectations of a higher growth number in FY22.
*Centre sets H2 borrowing target of Rs 5.03 Lakh Crore*
The Centre will borrow Rs 5.03 Lakh Crore from the market in H2 of FY22, or just about 42% of the budgeted full year target which has been kept unchanged at Rs 12.05 Lakh Crore despite the announcement of relief package in June.
