_*Only 2 things matter!*_
As a ‘small investor’, the only objective is multiplying your capital. _The only way to multiply your capital significantly is to laser-focus on only 2 things and 2 things only – *”growth in earnings”* and *”theme”* as a fundamental investor:_
*a) Figuring out growth in earnings is 80% of the job really.* Different ways to do it in terms of understanding business dynamics, management ability to read the market, changing product profile, changing product dynamics, changing competitive dynamics, growth in the overall market etc. Any aspect which is not helping you figure the above is not worth your time. If earnings are going to grow (especially, a business insight you can derive via research/scuttlebutt etc. which will help earnings grow more than what the market has factored in through existing valuations) is what will multiply your capital.
*b) Theme is critical for a quicker PE re-rating.* There are obviously various kind of themes in terms of marketcaps, sectors, fraud-themes like ESG etc., but the best kind of theme to latch on is where earnings are growing/will potentially grow because that’s when the wealth generated will be more sustainable. You can also make money via these themes like ESG and anti-ESG and what not these days, but the basis of holding on to these stocks becomes increasingly threadbare and therefore, not much money (3x-5x-10x) can be made on larger amounts of capital.
And that’s the summary really – earnings and themes where earnings will grow/are growing – don’t listen to anything else, don’t read anything else, don’t waste time on anything else.
To multiply your capital, only 2 things and only 2 things matter and hope that luck/serendipity walks along with you.

*Sensex 60,000 is finally here! Congratulations India and Congrats to Perma-Bulls camp too…*
*Well, whenever a big milestone is achieved, usually there are two groups of investors!*
The first: Why am i not fully invested?
The other: Should we be selling in the milestone?
*Well, we suspect —— Sensex 60,000 could draw in investors from the sidelines with more stocks participating in the next leg.*
Our *call of the day* suggests not selling stocks just because you think Sensex 60,000 indicates overbought conditions or you consider the markets got a bit expensive.
If your original investment thesis —— buy long & hold still applies, then that’s in line with our *chart of the day* which says there are still plenty of bargains and breakout on the upside patterns that still appear screaming buys —— including some of the stocks in the "Nifty 50."
*Long story short:* *Nifty will aim to scale above 18,000 mark.*
The make-or-break intraday support levels on Nifty are placed at 17701 mark.
With an interweek/intermonth perspective we are bullish on stocks like *NAZARA TECHNOLOGIES, INFOSYS, LARSEN, HDFC BANK and COFORGE.*
*The 1 Stock to Buy Right Now:* Buy HDFC BANK at CMP (1602). Stop 1553. Targets 1627/16651. Aggressive targets at 1675. Breakout Play. Interweek Strategy.

Vedanta:-ADR delisting is a positive news. In the past one year, the floating stock has come down drastically by around 15% due to open offer and purchase from market. Now, It will increase the floating stock to some extent. When promoter wants to buy aroud 17.5% through Open offer, they could succeed partially only. With increase in floating stock, it will be easy for them to increase % of holding. With a board resolution a company can go for purchase of shares upto 10%, which will increase promoter holding % indirectly. Every year, the promoter can buy upto 5% from market. Last december they bought 5% from market. Now one year is going to over from that date. All these shows the faith of them in the growth of the company. Promoter of any company can increase holing upto 75%. With aluminium, Zinc, and crude toughing all time high, the furure growth of this company may give handsome return.

The origin of the name *Kochi* is thought to be the Malayalam word kochu azhi, meaning 'small lagoon'. Yet another theory is that Kochi is derived from the word kaci, meaning 'harbour'. Kochi and Cochin are the names which create a lot of confusion when you are planning a trip to Kerala. If you are having the same predicament, dont worry, Kochi and cochin are the same. British used to call Kochi as Cochin and Keralites used to call it Kochi and officially Kochi was declared as the name in 1990s.

*Why apple orchards are seen in hilly and high altitude areas* 🍎🍏
Apples can be grown at altitudes 1500 to 2700 meters above mean sea level in the Himalayan only range which provides 1000 to1600 hours of chilling necessary for production of good quality apples. The average summer temperature should be around 21-24oC during active growth period.
Apple trees need at least 8 hours of sun per day during the growing season. Two varieties are required for successful pollination; one can be a crabapple. Dwarf apple trees will start bearing fruit 2 to 3 years after planting. Standard size trees can take up to 8 years to bear fruit.

*Importance of Ekadashi*
As per vedas, there are two words in Ekadashi Eka (1) and Dasha (10). Transforming actions of ten senses and mind from worldly objects to God is the true Ekadashi. Ekadashi means we should control our 10 senses & 1 mind. One must not let vicious thoughts regarding lust, anger avarice, etc. enter in mind. Ekadashi is a penance that should be done only to realize & please God.
The History of Ekadashi
In Satyuga, there lived a demon called Murdanav. He terrorized all good people and devotees on the earth as well as he scared all the Devaas also. So Devaas left heaven and took refuge to Lord Vishnu. They prayed lord Vishnu to protect them. God’s mercy towards his devotees is limitless. So he took off immediately on His fastest vehicle “Garuda”. He fought continuously for 1000 years with Murdanav of unbelievable strength and still he was fighting with full energy and power. So Lord Vishnu decided to change his strategy.
lord, Vishnu acted as if He was exhausted by the battle and hid in a cave in Himalayas. He decided to take a nap in this huge cave. Lord Vishnu along with all his ten senses and the mind inside, was taking a rest.
Murdanav reached to the cave by chasing lord Vishnu. He saw him sleeping inside the cave and followed Him. He took his sword to kill lord Vishnu. As he was about to swing the sword, suddenly an extremely beautiful & luminous lady playing with a sword emerged from lord Vishnu’s body.
Murdanav lured to her beauty & asked her to marry him. She said, “I would marry who can defeat me in battle” Murdanav agreed to her proposal. He started fighting with that divine lady. Eventually during the fight that divine lady defeated & slayed Murdanav.
Hearing the noise of fight, lord Vishnu woke up and saw that lady who killed Murdanav. Lord Vishnu called that lady, who emerged from Himself, by the name Ekadashi. That was the eleventh day of the waxing moon. Lord Vishnu pleased by her deed & said to ask a boon. The Ekadashi asked to Lord Vishnu that ‘as I evolved from your Ekadash Indriyas (eleven senses of the body) I shall be known as Ekadashi. I am filled with penance so I desire that people should observe Ekadashi Vrat and control their Ekadash Indriyas (Senses) on this day. On the day of my Vrat, no one should consume grains such as rice, wheat, beans etc.

*Sensex @ 60000, Expert Take*
It took little over 31 years for the Sensex to traverse from 1,000 points to the historic 60,000 level. The benchmark index was at 1,000 points back on July 25, 1990 and took nearly 25 years before it touched the 30,000 mark on March 4, 2015.
The Sensex has climbed from the 30,000 level to 60,000 in a little over six years, reflecting the overall bullishness in the market
*Ashishkumar Chauhan, MD & CEO, BSE*
Sensex reaching 60,000 today first time ever on September 24, 2021 is an indicator of India's growth potential, as well as the way India is emerging as a world leader during COVID period in addition to worldwide monetary expansion and relaxed fiscal policies adopted by world powers.
*Shrikant Chouhan, Head of Equity, Kotak Securities*
Market rally has usually been backed by domestic institutional investors (DIIs) buying in the equities, but now rising interest from foreign institutional investors (FIIs) is pulling the market upward.
*Santosh Meena, Head - Research, Swastika*
The roaring bull market is continued in the Indian market with climbing all walls of worries where Sensex has crossed the new milestone of 60,000. We are in a classical bull market like the 2003-2007 phase where this bull run is likely to continue for the next 2-3 years
*Anand Shah, ICICI Prudential AMC*
We are coming out of very difficult times for the economy. Not only in the last two years, but even in the last four-five years we have had one shock after another which had set back the economy
*Naveen Kulkarni, Chief Investment Officer, Axis Securities*
We could see many more positive surprises from the market in the next one-two years, as we are entering into a positive upcycle of earnings trajectory. A fully functional economy over the upcoming festival season and the sustenance of earnings momentum in Q2 FY22 are the near-term triggers for the market
*Nish Bhatt, Founder & CEO, Millwood Kane*
Not only the institutional investors but also the retail investors provided legs to the current market rally. India saw millions of new retail investors entering the market as interest on bank deposits dipped. The number of Demat accounts has crossed 50 million.
The rally in the market is on prospective unlocking, the pace of vaccination despite a huge population. The demand push during the festive season coupled with an earnings upgrade for the market is another positive.
*Motilal Oswal, MD & CEO, Motilal Oswal*
The rally in domestic market is driven by positive global cues, strong inflows by FIIs/DIIs, good corporate earnings, falling Covid-19 cases, upbeat corporate commentaries and low cost of capital.
Amid the buoyant sentiment and increased activity, valuations has reached elevated levels and demand consistent delivery on earnings expectations.
Given rich valuations, one cannot ignore intermittent volatility – however we expect the positive momentum to continue on the back of improving economic activity and recovery in corporate earnings
*Dhiraj Relli, MD & CEO, HDFC Securities*
The time taken for the Sensex to gain the last 5,000 points was just 42 days (vs 204 days for the previous 5,000 points). This shows the impact of return of FPIs and local investors continuing to invest despite headwinds that cropped up time and again.
The absence of a 10% correction in the indices over the last 18 months shows the maturity of the local investors but also throws up the possibility of that happening over the next few weeks/months
*Amar Ambani, Head of Institutional Equities, YES Securities*
Corporate balance sheets have been significantly strengthened with record equity raise in last two years. On the revenue front, the listed universe is on firm ground with accelerated trend of unorganized to organized, digital super-cycle and sustained cost management.

We expect the government to continue spending on infrastructure and fast track the reform agenda as we have seen with lowered corporate tax rates, PLi schemes, RBI support, strategic divestments and so on. With accommodative financial conditions worldwide, we see the mega rally in risk assets continuing
*Anand James, Chief Market Strategist, Geojit*
Sensex mounted the 60k mark as risk appetite improved after fears surrounding Evergrande debt crisis eased. BSE found almost 60% of the stocks advancing in the first hour. But we remain watchful of markets weighing in rate hike prospects as US treasury yields have begun to firm up, following Fed's taper signals.
*Sandeep Bharadwaj, CEO, IIFL Securities*
Expectations of solid economic recovery and sustained growth in the next couple of years is keeping the bulls enthused. Also from global funds perspective, India remains an attractive destination, especially in the China+1 scenario. Having said that retail investors must have a diversified portfolio at this stage to face any kind of volatility
*Shankar Sharma, Vice-Chairman & Joint MD, First Global*
Doesn’t see a bear market anytime soon, although there may be days when we will see corrections according to him. Sharma says there is still scope to buy stocks and get decent returns; real estate is coming out of a very long time in wilderness he believes. Big asset cycle takes time to play out and equities and realty are the two major asset classes in India right now
*Jim Rogers, Investment Guru*
India is the hottest market in the world this year. China is not. America is certainly not; it has been but not now. The Indians once again are showing how smart they are, Speaking about the crackdown by the Chinese government on the gaming industry, tech companies and now Evergrande debt pile.
There was billions of dollars of unregulated lending going on in China which was a disaster waiting to happen. I am delighted they cut back on that because it gave some people an unfair advantage. So that was a good move as far as I am concerned
*Piyush Garg, CIO, ICICI Securities*
Indian stocks have been performing well over the past few quarters due to robust liquidity, upward earnings cycle and an economic revival led by a fading pandemic. He, however, cautioned that investors should be wary of rising inflation and a subsequent squeeze on liquidity
*Vinit Sambre, head-equities, DSP Investment*
Economic growth is just beginning to turn around, and credit growth is seeing some stability. So, there is a large runway ahead for the long term. In the short term, frontline indices look a little heated on momentum readings.
Also, when you score the markets cumulatively on historical valuation parameters, they are slightly stretched, Markets are trading nearly 20 times FY23 earnings
*Brijesh Bhatia, Equitymaster*
We are witnessing broad-based buying from large-caps to mid-caps, and small-caps. The euphoria in the market is likely to continue. It may extend till January-February 2022. Though volatility is likely to witness an up-tick
*Chris Wood, Jefferies*
A further positive is growing evidence of job generation. India also seems to be at a major inflection point in earnings, with corporate profits to gross domestic product (GDP) ratio bouncing off an all-time low of 1.2% in FY20 to an estimated 2.1% in FY21
*Hemant Kanawala, Kotak Mahindra Life*
We believe that the interest of foreign investors in Indian markets will sustain due to continued policy support from the government and the accelerated pace of vaccination, offering incremental growth visibility.
India's average daily vaccination run rate in September has seen a 48% jump to 8.1 mn doses compared to 5.4 mn doses in August. This augurs well for economy as well as investor sentiment
