_*Only 2 things matter!*_

As a ‘small investor’, the only objective is multiplying your capital. _The only way to multiply your capital significantly is to laser-focus on only 2 things and 2 things only – *”growth in earnings”* and *”theme”* as a fundamental investor:_

*a) Figuring out growth in earnings is 80% of the job really.* Different ways to do it in terms of understanding business dynamics, management ability to read the market, changing product profile, changing product dynamics, changing competitive dynamics, growth in the overall market etc. Any aspect which is not helping you figure the above is not worth your time. If earnings are going to grow (especially, a business insight you can derive via research/scuttlebutt etc. which will help earnings grow more than what the market has factored in through existing valuations) is what will multiply your capital.

*b) Theme is critical for a quicker PE re-rating.* There are obviously various kind of themes in terms of marketcaps, sectors, fraud-themes like ESG etc., but the best kind of theme to latch on is where earnings are growing/will potentially grow because that’s when the wealth generated will be more sustainable. You can also make money via these themes like ESG and anti-ESG and what not these days, but the basis of holding on to these stocks becomes increasingly threadbare and therefore, not much money (3x-5x-10x) can be made on larger amounts of capital.

And that’s the summary really – earnings and themes where earnings will grow/are growing – don’t listen to anything else, don’t read anything else, don’t waste time on anything else.

To multiply your capital, only 2 things and only 2 things matter and hope that luck/serendipity walks along with you.

*Sensex 60,000 is finally here! Congratulations India and Congrats to Perma-Bulls camp too…*

*Well, whenever a big milestone is achieved, usually there are two groups of investors!*

The first: Why am i not fully invested?
The other: Should we be selling in the milestone?

*Well, we suspect —— Sensex 60,000 could draw in investors from the sidelines with more stocks participating in the next leg.*

Our *call of the day* suggests not selling stocks just because you think Sensex 60,000 indicates overbought conditions or you consider the markets got a bit expensive.

If your original investment thesis —— buy long & hold still applies, then that’s in line with our *chart of the day* which says there are still plenty of bargains and breakout on the upside patterns that still appear screaming buys —— including some of the stocks in the "Nifty 50."

*Long story short:* *Nifty will aim to scale above 18,000 mark.*

The make-or-break intraday support levels on Nifty are placed at 17701 mark.

With an interweek/intermonth perspective we are bullish on stocks like *NAZARA TECHNOLOGIES, INFOSYS, LARSEN, HDFC BANK and COFORGE.*

*The 1 Stock to Buy Right Now:* Buy HDFC BANK at CMP (1602). Stop 1553. Targets 1627/16651. Aggressive targets at 1675. Breakout Play. Interweek Strategy.

Vedanta:-ADR delisting is a positive news. In the past one year, the floating stock has come down drastically by around 15% due to open offer and purchase from market. Now, It will increase the floating stock to some extent. When promoter wants to buy aroud 17.5% through Open offer, they could succeed partially only. With increase in floating stock, it will be easy for them to increase % of holding. With a board resolution a company can go for purchase of shares upto 10%, which will increase promoter holding % indirectly. Every year, the promoter can buy upto 5% from market. Last december they bought 5% from market. Now one year is going to over from that date. All these shows the faith of them in the growth of the company. Promoter of any company can increase holing upto 75%. With aluminium, Zinc, and crude toughing all time high, the furure growth of this company may give handsome return.
