SEBI Investigating Some Adani Group Firms, Minister Says
· Market regulator SEBI is investigating some Adani Group companies with regard to compliance with rules, Pankaj Chaudhary, minister of state for finance, says in a written reply to a lawmaker’s questions.

According to Shivpuran, only a half-parikrama of Shivalinga should be carried out. This is because Shiva is Anadi and Anant himself. It’s said that Shiva’s Shakti is so fierce that none could ever interfere or come in the line of it. Nirmili is a sacred part of the Shivling and must never be over-stepped. Therefore, it is advised to only perform half-parikrama of Shivlinga to avoid stepping over the Nirmili.

*Maintained guidance, Revenue expected to grow in double digits in constant currency for FY’22. EBIT margin expected to be between 19.0% and 21.0% for FY’22. Management indicates Q2 will be better and Growth in H2 to be better than H1.*
• Q1 TCV of New Deal wins came at US$ 1,664 mn (+37% YoY) growth was enabled by 8 Large Services deal wins and 4 significant product wins
• CC QoQ came at 0.7% ,Dollar revenue came at $ 2719.6 Mn(0.9% QoQ, 15.5% YoY)
• On geographical front , America and ROW posted good growth, Europe had a dip however booking in Europe remains healthy
• EBIT Margin dipped by 77 bps and came at 19.6%, Forex led to improvement of 19 bps higher amortisation which was present last quarter led to improvement of 60 bps which was impacted by pandemic by 90 bps ( impact on revenue -20 bps, leave cost – 25bps , covid support cost 45 bps) hiring led to impact of 35 bps, investment in new market and higher R&D spend impacted margins by 30 bps
• Total headcount at 176,499 with strong net Addition of 7,522 during the quarter
• Adj. PAT came at Rs. 3215 Cr
• Quarter EPS is Rs. 11.8
