BEST TRADING RULES
Buy that which is showing strength - sell that which is showing weakness.
The public continues to buy when prices have fallen. The professional buys because prices have rallied.
This difference may not sound logical, but buying strength works.
The rule of survival is not to “buy low, sell high”, but to “buy higher and sell higher”. Furthermore,
when comparing various stocks within a group, buy only the strongest and sell the weakest.

Evening update - Stocks Climb as Jobs Report Dims Hawkish Wagers
· US stocks rose on speculation the economy is recovering at a pace that won’t make the Federal Reserve imminently take away the liquidity punch bowl that has helped push the market to a record. The S&P 500 climbed for a seventh straight day – the longest winning streak since August -- after data showed U.S. job growth surged the most in 10 months, while the unemployment rate edged up to 5.9%. Nasdaq Composite, S&P 500 and Dow Jones gained 0.2% each.
· European stocks trimmed their advance in afternoon trading as declines in the banking and energy sectors countered gains for leisure and technology shares. FTSE, CAC and DAX Index are trading flat.
· Oil headed for a weekly gain as infighting within OPEC+ delayed a much-anticipated decision on raising output, risking an inflationary spike in prices if the group can’t come to an agreement. Brent Crude declined 1% to $75.5/bbl.
· Gold held on to its gains by half percent to $17.85/ounce as the dollar retreated after a U.S. jobs report showed job growth accelerated while the unemployment edged up in June.

The much-awaited Content on Demand service in trains will be launched this month, a senior official of RailTel Corporation of India said on Thursday. The service involves infotainment in moving trains by providing preloaded multilingual content which will include movies, news, music videos, and general entertainment. To ensure buffer-free services, media servers will be placed inside coaches, RailTel Chairman and Managing Director Puneet Chawla said in a press briefing. Passengers will be able to enjoy high-quality buffer-free streaming across personal devices and the content will be periodically refreshed. The service will be rolled out onboard 8,731 trains including 5,723 suburban trains and more than 5,952 wi-fi-enabled railway stations.
Pilot implementation in a Rajdhani and an AC suburban rake over Western Railway is in the final stage of completion and testing. The revenue share of Railway and RailTel is 50:50 with the PSU expecting an annual revenue of at least Rs 60 crore from the initiative. RailTel has roped in Margo Networks, a subsidiary of Zee Entertainment, to provide the CoD service in trains and railway stations. The project will be implemented in two years and the content will be made available both in paid and unpaid formats for a contract period of 10 years which includes first two years of implementation. With an aim to generate more non-fare revenue, the Railway Board has entrusted RailTel with providing the CoD service to passengers in trains. "Content on Demand will be available from this month and it will not only improve passenger experience but also increase non-fare revenue through multiple monetisation models," Chawla said
