Bank of India: RBI imposed a penalty of Rs 4 crore for non-compliance with KYC/Anti Money Laundering circular. Penalty pertaining to breach of transaction limits, delay in reporting of fraud in 2019.
Punjab National Bank: RBI imposed a penalty of Rs 2 crore for non-compliance with fraud guidelines. Penalty pertaining to delay in fraud reporting, not ensuring data accuracy and integrity in reporting to CRILC.

2. *The High Commission of India in Dhaka has taken up the case for the entry of the Indian medical students who are scheduled to appear for their MBBS final professional examination in Bangladesh in June this year.* many of the MBBS students had written to the High Commission seeking help to return to Bangladesh to appear for their final exams. Actually exams were scheduled to be held in Nov 2020 but they have been rescheduled now for June 2021.
3. *World Bank has approved a USD 500 million program to help boost India's Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise (MSME) sector.* The programme targets improvements in the performance of five lakh 50 thousand MSMEs.
