*Outlook: Near term impacted on account of lockdown though ourder booking is strong of 2-3 month, recovery of demand expected in H2FY22*
• The company witnessed healthy demand and pick-up in business activities in the automotive industry and the company has a robust order book and booking numbers are ahead of pre-covid levels.
• The company had price hike of almost Rs. 12000 in FY21
• The company added another Rs. 20 Cr to the existing Rs. 50 Cr provision for Covid
• The company added 535 dealerships and studio format stores during the year taking their retail presence to 2,056 retail touchpoints across more than 1,750 cities.
• Internationally, the company now has more than 130 exclusive stores, and a retail footprint of over 760 stores in more than 60 countries. The company also launched its first CKD unit (completely knocked down), in Buenos Aires, Argentina during the year.
• The company has order back logs of around 2-3 months across several models but the company expects to cover the same in the coming quarter.
• The VECV business registered a 71.4% growth in revenue to Rs. 3,602 Cr against Rs. 2,101 Cr YoY. The EBITDA margin improved to 8.9% against 1.8% YoY due to stringent cost reduction measures being undertaken.
• VECV gained a 7% market share in the heavy duty segment. In the heavy duty segment, VECV volume grew by 6% in FY21 compared to last year against a decline of 21% in industry volume.
