NSE to consider consolidated earnings to calculate PE ratio

Come March 31 and India's equity investors will have something to smile about. The valuation of India's benchmark equity index Nifty 50 is set to get cheaper by 12 per cent. Want to hear the real good news? The index will get less expensive, without the market actually falling.
This cheaper valuation for Nifty 50 is possible due to a small but a key rule change done by the NSE index management that will henceforth use consolidated earnings of Nifty 50 companies as against the current practice of considering standalone numbers.
Consolidated numbers include aggregated reporting of a company's entire business including subsidiaries. Only in cases where consolidated financials are not available, standalone financials will be considered, an NSE statement said.
The Nifty 50 index's PE valuation is set to fall from a rich 40 times based on standalone earnings to a modest 35 times when the consolidated figures are included.

OPEC+, met on Thursday to discuss the group’s production policy going forward.

The alliance decided to gradually curb production cuts beginning in May.

Starting in May an additional 350,000 barrels per day will be added to production, with another 350,000 coming on the market in June. Come July output will be increased by 450,000 barrels per day.

The OPEC+ alliance is currently cutting by just over 7 million barrels per day in an attempt to prop up prices and reduce oversupply. OPEC kingpin Saudi Arabia has voluntarily added an additional 1 million barrels per day to those cuts.

From April 1, 2021, the I-T department will also get information related to your share trading, mutual fund transaction, dividend income as well as interest on Post Office deposits and deposits in Non Banking Financial Companies (NBFCs). These transactions will also be reflected in the new format of Form 26AS.
As the I-T department will get all this information directly from your broker,/AMC/ post office, it will be difficult for for tax evaders to suppress these incomes.

Until now ITR forms allowed taxpayers to auto populate details such as Name, PAN, Address, Bank Details, Tax payment and TDS, etc. While presenting the Union Budget for FY22, the Finance Minister said that ITR forms will now come pre-filled with details such as capital gains from listed securities, dividend income, and interest from banks, post office, etc. for the purpose of easing the procedure of return filing.
To make these proposals effective, the  CBDT issued a notification on March 12, 2021, wherein it said that a specified category of persons required to furnish a statement of financial transaction u/s 285BA of the Income Tax Act, 1961, and it should include information pertaining to capital gains on transfer of listed securities or units of Mutual Funds, dividend income, and interest income. The category of persons required to report such transactions are recognised Stock Exchange such as BSE, NSE, depositories, recognised clearing corporation, registrar to an IPO, share transfer agents, companies distributing dividend, banking companies or a co-operative bank covered under the banking laws, Post Master General defined under the Indian Post Office Act, 1898 and NBFCs.

So from April 1, 2021, due to the broad coverage of data in the Annual Information Statement (AIS), the taxpayer needs to ensure that all details of income from sources such as salary, interest, dividend, capital gains rom mutual funds and shares, are shown in the ITR. Any escapement by the taxpayer on this may attract severe penalty, say tax experts.

*😳Why*

*What Is Vitiligo?* *Why it happens*

Vitiligo is a condition in which white patches develop on the skin. Any location on the body can be affected, and most people with vitiligo have white patches on many areas.

Vitiligo is caused by the lack of a pigment called melanin in the skin. Melanin is produced by skin cells called melanocytes, and it gives your skin its colour. In vitiligo, there are not enough working melanocytes to produce enough melanin in your skin. This causes white patches to develop on your skin or hair.

🤔 *How it works*

*How an Ear hearing aid works* 🦻🏻

A hearing aid has three basic parts: a microphone, amplifier, and speaker. The hearing aid receives sound through a microphone, which converts the sound waves to electrical signals and sends them to an amplifier. The amplifier increases the power of the signals and then sends them to the ear through a speaker.

The sound waves are gathered by the outer ear and sent down the ear canal to the eardrum. The sound waves cause the eardrum to vibrate, which sets the three tiny bones in the middle ear into motion. The motion of the bones causes the fluid in the inner ear or cochlea to move. cochlea, causes changes in tiny structures called hair cells.

*How we can lose our hearing*
The path between your outer ear and your brain can be blocked or damaged in many different places and in a number of different ways, so people can become deaf or lose some or all of their hearing for lots of different reasons. One of the most common types of hearing loss happens when the hairs in the cochlea become damaged. If there are fewer hairs, sounds produce less stimulation in your brain—so things need to be louder for you to hear them.
