Many quality setups remain intact.

As long as the recent swing lows hold, reversal entries continue to offer favorable risk-reward.

Today's close will provide an important clue about the market's next move.

🚨 Yesterday's message was simple: Don't take fresh swing positions. Not because the market was bearish. Because market breadth was weakening. Today validated that signal. πŸ“‰ Market Breadth β€’ % Above 20DMA: 56.2% β†’ 33.2% (-23%) β€’ Market Structure: 20…
In swing, you have to decide timing where probabilities and R:R is favourable

Last 3 day was not the right time as short term breadth was weakening

Today's bounce offer better RR as 50DMA breadth is intact as of now.

Market is dynamic, not static.

And my view can go wrong.

But what's most important is to act only when Risk Reward and probabilities are favourable.
In swing trading, you need defined risk + probabilities in your favor.

Last few days:

β€’ Choppy market
β€’ Breakouts needed ~4% SL
β€’ High chance of shakeouts & SL hunting
β€’ Setups often stayed valid even after SL hit

Today:

β€’ Post-shakeout, stocks offer lower-risk entries
β€’ SL = today’s low (~2–2.5%)
β€’ Better risk-reward

If SL hits β†’ base likely broken β†’ higher chance of further fall

In other words, the stop-loss aligns with the point where the trade idea is actually invalidated.

πŸ“Š Market Breadth Update

Yesterday, I mentioned that Wednesday's sharp selloff looked more like a shakeout within an ongoing uptrend.

Today's breadth confirmed that view.

🟒 60.6% of stocks > 20DMA (↑ from 46.8%)
🟒 64.0% of stocks > 50DMA (↑ from 57.7%)
🟒 57.1% of stocks > 200DMA (↑ from 54.1%)

The key takeaway isn't just that breadth improved - it's how quickly participation returned.

Wednesday's weakness failed to spread across the broader market.

Instead, participation strengthened.

Across short-, intermediate-, and long-term trends, suggesting buyers stepped back in quickly.

As long as Wednesday's lows remain intact, I expect strong setups to continue outperforming.

My focus remains on stocks that are:
βœ… Holding above the 21 EMA
βœ… Showing relative strength
βœ… Breaking out or reversing with strong volume

πŸ“Š Market Breadth Update

Swing Bias: 🟒 Moderately Bullish (7.5/10)

β€’ 57.0% of stocks are trading above their 20DMA
β€’ 63.4% are trading above their 50DMA
β€’ 57.4% remain above their 200DMA

Key takeaway:

β€’ As long as 50DMA breadth stays above 58–60% and 20DMA breadth remains above 50%, the broader trend continues to favor buying quality pullbacks.

β€’ However, with 20DMA breadth still below 50DMA breadth, avoid chasing extended moves. Book partial profits into strength and wait for fresh setups or pullbacks to add exposure.
πŸ‘3
4 rules I follow once a trade starts working in my favor:

πŸ“ˆ +0.5R β†’ Move SL to -0.75R (reduce max loss)
πŸ“ˆ +1R β†’ Move SL to -0.5R (cut risk in half)
πŸ“ˆ +2R β†’ Move SL to +1R (lock in a winner)
πŸ“ˆ +3R β†’ Move SL to +2.5R (trail or consider a full exit)

Note: These aren't rigid rules. Think of them as guidelines to be aligned with price structure, key support/resistance levels, and volatility.

At every stage, I have two options:

β€’ Move the stop-loss, or
β€’ Book partial profits.

Both achieve the same objectiveβ€”reducing risk while letting winners run.

Beyond +3R, trade management becomes discretionary. I trail based on market structure, key support/resistance levels, and the remaining reward potential.

The goal isn't to maximize every trade. It's to protect capital and stay in the game long enough to catch the big winners.

Market Breadth (20 Jul '26) πŸ“Š

🟑 50.1% of stocks above 20DMA
🟒 58.5% above 50DMA
🟒 55.2% above 200DMA

Relationship: 20 < 50 > 200

Lack of Momentum

Wait & Watch Mode for fresh entries

βœ… 20DMA breadth reclaiming 60% would signal renewed momentum.

⚠️ A sustained drop in 50DMA breadth below 55-58% would indicate weakness spreading beyond a normal pullback.
