Alḥamdulillāh, we're pleased to share another update on the renovation of Markaz Rabee.

Recent progress includes:

✅ The structural steel calculations have now been completed by our structural engineer, confirming the steelwork required to safely support the building.

✅ Quotations have now been received from several steel fabrication companies, and a contractor has now been appointed to carry out the structural steel installation.

📋 Before work begins on site, the contractor is now completing the necessary pre-commencement requirements, including site-specific risk assessments, and other preparatory works required before the installation can commence.

🚧 Once these have been finalised, work will begin on the next major phase of the project, including:

• Installing temporary structural supports.
• Carefully removing the existing load-bearing wall.
• Installing the new steel beams and columns in accordance with the structural engineer's design.

🔨 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗮𝘇 𝗥𝗮𝗯𝗲𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗨𝗽𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲

This is one of the most significant stages of the renovation and will pave the way for the remaining building works.

Every step brings us one step closer to opening Markaz Rabee as a place of worship, Qur’an, authentic Islamic knowledge, education and da’wah, bi’idhnillāh.
