BTC mining difficulty has just seen an increase of 9.20%, which is by far the largest increase since January of this year. This is a clear signal that we’re seeing a new wave of mid and potentially long term mining interest specifically for BTC, and this could lead us to our next move, extending to the end of the year.
How can we expect this to affect price action?
We’re likely seeing new miner entering the market and reserve mining power from already existing large miners being once again put to work, which means a higher interest in the market. If we see this rate increasing over the next few months, we’re likely seeing BTC and alts going to new mid and long term highs.
