With 20222 seeing two of the largest capitulation events in history, we can clearly see that we currently have the largest Bitcoin transfer volume in loss since 2011. This means that over 530,000 BTC are currently in a trade loss after the LUNA collapse and our latest $20,000 breakdown towards $17,500.
What does this mean for the market in terms of price action?
This means that the current amount of BTC being held by institutions is extremely low, and is likely increasing every single day while they accumulate. Larger players know that we have an extremely low probability of heading lower from here, at least for now, and that’s why they’re holding potentially at least towards $30,000 or $40,000.
