Total global stablecoin supply is currently at around $180 billion, with USDT making roughly 50% of it. While most stablecoins have remained stable for most of the past 12 months, there have been a couple of outliers including UST and USDC which have seen violent growth moves, specially since January of this year.
How can this affect the market overall in the next months?
Considering that USDT has seen a growth of around $7.5 Billion in 5 months, and that USDC saw an even stronger growth over the past few months, we can say with relative confidence that big players are entering the market through alternative stable coins in order to create smaller waves, which could mean accumulation is still taking place.
