๐ Canadaโs population hits 41M months after breaking 40M threshold
Nine months after reaching a population of 40 million, Canada has cracked a new threshold.
As of Wednesday morning, itโs estimated 41 million people now call the country home, according to Statistics Canadaโs live population tracker.
Much of this increase is, of course, due to migration. So, we can expect the housing crisis to worsen.

Real-time payment: how much longer to wait?
Efforts to introduce an instant payment system in Canada, known as Real-Time Rail, are years behind schedule, and Canada remains the only G20 country that has not yet implemented the system.
The delay means merchants have to wait until they receive the amount they are owed, and with online payments sometimes slow, anyone can get into a difficult situation.
For example, if you pay your bill online on the Thursday evening before the long Easter weekend, the payment may not be processed until Monday.
Instant payment systems are in place in almost all civilized countries. Why not in Canada?
