Re: Ask vs. Guess Culture
The "Ask vs Guess" name rhetorically frames it in favor of the Askers. Asking sounds reasonable, guessing does not!
But really it's not about "Guessing", it's about understanding. It's about community, and relationship, and trust. What this culture really wants is for you to pay attention and understand the people around you, rather than treating everything as a transaction.

It's often said that psychedelics are safe because nothing harmful has been detected wrt their effect, but that says little except for them being understudied (of course you can't say anything meaningful about the thing which has been strictly prohibited for research because of retards doing unethical experiments long time ago). But when you want to know the long term effects, you just look at the long time users. Your look won't be scientific neither in statistical nor methodological way but let's be real, unless a meth crackpot is clearly damaged and thinks he is being followed by the shadows on his wall, these «howdy know DMT elves aren't real, you're just not gud enough for The Encounter» and other Bitcoin shamans exhibit the clearest pattern of being utterly fucked in their brains, even though their septum might be where it belongs and their heart not going to explode by the time they're 50 (unless they're polyaddicts).
