Björn is a handsome member of the prickly dandelion dynasty, brother of Borsika, and elder brother of the beloved and unforgettable Polly, Calypso, Thomas O’Malley, and the precious Melisa 💖
He received his name at his home zoo, Nordens Ark — Björn means “bear” in Swedish.

In June, one of the eldest sons of Eve the manul (#1, whom we call Molniya*) moved from Novosibirsk Zoo to his new home — Roev Ruchey.
And now he has an official name — Boris! 😍
The manul has already completed his quarantine, and now you can see him on display and meet this serious and handsome floof in purr-son! 😻
Let’s wish Boris a smooth adjustment to his new home and the kindest, most caring zookeepers! ❤️

С 2019 года в этом зоопарке живёт пара манулов. Но всё это время их имена оставались неизвестны миру мануломанов. Пора это исправить!
Встречайте:
🩷 Фэй — родная сестра прекрасной Намики,
💙 Бату — котомуж Фэй, уроженец Йиглавского зоопарка, брат Эвок и Фуджитиво.
Его легко узнать по «пиратскому» правому глазику — вероятно, последствие вируса кошачьего герпеса.
Кстати, раньше у красавицы Фэй было другое имя — традиционно «горное», как у всех её братьев и сестёр, которое ей дали в детстве в отчем зоопарке Брно.

Since 2019, a pair of manuls has been living at this zoo. But all this time, their names remained a secret to the manulovers community. It's time to fix that!
Meet:
🩷 Fay — beautiful Namika's sister,
💙 Batu — Fay’s cat-husband, born in Jihlava Zoo. He is a brother of Ewok and Fuggitivo.
You can easily recognize him by his “pirate” right eye — most likely an aftereffects of a herpesvirus infection.
By the way, the beautiful Fay used to have a different name — a traditionally “mountain” one, given to her and all her siblings in their childhood at their home zoo in Brno.
