IDF Spokesman Brig. Gen. Effie Defrin says the military assesses that Iran and Hezbollah will attempt attacks on Israel during the Passover holiday tonight.
"We assess that this evening as well, the Iranian regime and Hezbollah will attempt to continue firing toward Israel. The IDF is prepared both defensively and offensively and will act against any threat," Defrin says in a post on X.

According to Iranian media, heavy damage was caused to the Rafi Niya synagogue.
In response to a query by The Times of Israel, the military says that it struck a top commander from Khatam al-Anbiya, Iran's military emergency command.
