Palestinian media claiming an airstrike against a number of people in eastern Jenin. No further details are immediately available.
Palestinian health ministry says a man was killed by Israeli troops in Jenin, bringing the toll of the IDF's operation to 12.

An Israeli soldier has been killed after being shot in the West Bank city of Jenin earlier this evening, the military says.

The Israel Defense Forces says the soldier was treated at the scene, before being taken to a hospital in Israel, where he was declared dead.

The IDF did not immediately elaborate if the soldier was hit by Palestinian gunfire or so-called “friendly fire.”

The incident comes shortly before the IDF began withdrawing forces from Jenin.
The soldier was an NCO in the elite Egoz unit.

IDF says the Air Force struck an underground Hamas weapons manufacturing site and a raw materials for rockets facility, in response to the five rockets launched at Israel.
The Egoz soldier killed in Jenin last night is named as Sgt. First Class David Yehuda Yitzhak, 23, from the settlement of Beit El.
Reports of gunfire in the Mount Gerizim area, close to the settlement of Har Bracha. No physical injuries reported.
Damage caused to a store in the Har Gerizim neighborhood. The shooting was apparently directed at the police vehicle.
