Today is China's national heroes day as was set in 2014, millions of Chinese people gathered in the Tiananmen Square, including the President of China, Xi Jinping and the leaders of the CPC to attend the ceremony pay tribute to fallen soldiers from the first opium war to the present day who have sacrificed their lives defending China.

🇨🇳 On October 1 #Китай celebrates the 74th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China.

The Soviet Union became the first country to recognize the PRC and establish diplomatic relations with it on October 2, 1949. In February 1950, a fundamental bilateral document was concluded - the Treaty of Friendship, Alliance and Mutual Assistance between the USSR and the PRC.

🇷🇺🤝🇨🇳 In the 21st century, relations between our countries have reached a qualitatively new level. In 2001 , the Treaty of Friendship, Good Neighborhood and Cooperation was signed, which laid the foundations for the modern stage of interaction.
