Manuel Akanji: “In some games you're more midfield so a lot comes with this position, never the same. I’m just trying to learn roles. I enjoy adaptability. I've never played three Man City games in a row the same position. Maximum two. Normally I change every game.”

Man City have maintained contact with Lucas Paqueta’s camp in recent months. Personal terms are not expected to be a problem as Man City is Paqueta’s first choice, and a move has progressed well since last summer.

Lucas Paqueta’s firm desire is to join Man City, but a move will only happen if he is cleared of charges against him, and possibly if other players depart the Etihad Stadium. The investigation into Paqueta is still active.
