Meet Rebecca, mum of 3 and a Process Artist. As a stay-at-home mum, she never gave up on her passion for #art and leveraged her #creativity to develop child-directed art activities that celebrate the experience of discovery.

In Process Art, the final product is always unique and the focus lies in the creation of the work, not the outcome. That’s exactly what Rebecca believes in, “through process art, we talk, we bond, we play, we learn, we reflect, all at the same time.”

Read this month's #ArtMamaSpotlight and find out more about how art helped her overcome the many challenges as a mother.

Last week, our founder @aliceyuyuebo represented the @mamaonpalette community during the Ground-Up Movement (GUM) Ceremony, organised by @kindnesssg, in line with Singapore Kindness Day.

We were very honored to get the chance to share our stories of empowering mums through arts with the other community leaders as well as Minister @edwintong for Culture, Community and Youth (@mccy). Together, let’s spread more kindness and positivity in Singapore!

For Mama Alka, parenting was a trial-and-error journey for her. Having raised two sons successfully, now she spends her days soaking in front of her canvases.

Painting and spreading colors have always been a hobby of Alka, and as an artist, she dreams of presenting her works to the world one day.

As she likes to say, “Art is another form of creativity”. To Alka, there’s no definite limit to what ones’ mind holds.

Read Mama Alka’s story on how she continuously opens new doors in her life and dive into new inspirations daily.
