Cat update: Jelly is doing great as far as the post-surgery life goes, but a large lump has formed on his left hind leg's ankle. I've made an appointment for this Thursday to have the vet take a look and see what it is. I texted pics of it to her and she said it was not there at the time of the surgery. Fingers crossed it's nothing serious; he does not seem bothered by it besides a slight favoring of that leg.

Cat Update: Jelly has returned home from his scheduled surgery. Due to a reaction he had with one of the medications needed for surgery, they had to cease and wake him back up. His breathing became too slow to be safe to proceed. He is just fine now, and I will hear back with details about what to do next. In the mean time I'm to simply monitor his health for a few days. And it seems I was not charged for this visit, as they strictly require payment upfront before you can pick up your pet.
