Dort haben wir Menschen getroffen, die bereits das zweite mal vom Krieg fliehen mussten. Wir haben uns ausgetauscht und gemeinsam Tee getrunken und Interviews gemacht.

❤️🔥Unsere zweite Station war ein ehemaliges Studierendenwohnheim in dem vor allem ältere Menschen, die vom Krieg fliehen mussten leben.
Wir haben verschiedene Bewohner*innen getroffen und Interviews mit ihnen gemacht. Es war sehr bewegend ihre Geschichten zu hören
💫Our second stop was in Sumy at a former student dormitory, where right now mostly live older people who were displaced because of the war.
We met several and too interviews with them. it was really moving to hear their stories.

This lecture presents various considerations and ideas about what connects anarchism with sex work, as well as an anarchist perspective on the current sex work debate.
An important aspect of this is a clear focus on the perspective and self-determination of sex workers.
The presentation is based on the work of Projet-Evasions, a network of anarchist friends in which several people are also sex workers and work in very different repressive contexts (from legal work to illegal work with prison risk).

This workshop provides a look behind the scenes of a police interrogation, the strategies the police learn to interrogate us, and how we can defend ourselves against them.
Let’s summarize the context you find yourself in when you experience an interrogation situation: You have only fragmentary information about the investigation concerning you and about the material the police have in their possession. [...] All police strategies and techniques have one thing in common: in order to achieve their goals, the cooperation of the person being questioned is necessary, if not essential. If you refuse to cooperate, you destroy the weapons that the police could use against you.

In the last week of October we were in Pavlograd and Sumy to distribute the donations we collected with your help. We met people who had to flee from war and destruction by the Russian army. Some of the people in Pavlograd had to flee already the second time. In Sumy we went to a former student dormitory where especially older and less mobile people are living right now. They had to flee there villages and cities as well. We distributed your donations but also bought necessary items like a shower cabin for the dormitory. We talked to people and heard their different, sometimes very horrible stories. We will soon share parts of that with you.

More than anything, the film speaks to the strength and resilience of the Sudanese people in the face of gross systemic injustice.
With this screening, we want to open the door to a better understanding of the current situation in Sudan. The mechanisms of oppression we discuss in relation to Palestine replicate here and in contexts all over the world: the struggle for self-determination, recognition, and justice. We see these struggles not as singular, but interconnected and interdependent.
There will be space made after the film for tea, open exchange, and discussion with one another.
