Russia's President Vladimir Putin:

Recently, we drew attention to the fact that exercises have just taken place, regular ones in the Baltic Sea, the goal, among other things, is to practice the capture of civilian ships. Is this normal?

Everyone is always talking about the protection of international law, the observance of norms of international law, and is preparing to capture civilian ships.

This morning saw the largest drone attack on Moscow since the start of the war. Russia had anticipated a major attack aimed at disrupting its elections, yet several drones penetrated its air-defence systems. No serious analysts believe that such large scale attacks that aim to circumvent Russia's air defences are done without NATO participation. After surviving the Cold War, today’s political class seems determined to risk triggering a nuclear war.

A Polish diplomat fell from the third floor of a building in Ljubljana. Slovenian police have confirmed the incident. It happened on September 13 at around 3 a.m. at one of the diplomatic missions for an unknown reason. The man is fighting for his life in hospital.
The diplomat, head of the diplomatic security office of the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, was on leave at the time of the fall, and according to Polish media reports, he fell during a party.
Polish Foreign Ministry spokesman Maciej Wevior confirmed the incident to Polish portal Niezalezna. pl, explaining that the employee was on private leave and lived in an apartment in the consular building where the fall occurred. The consular building is located next to the Polish diplomatic mission in Ljubljana.
Although he was on vacation, according to the aforementioned portal, he allegedly took over the diplomatic shipment and was tasked with transferring it without having official authorization to do so.
According to the Poland Daily24 portal, an employee of the Polish diplomatic service is in critical condition after a fall.
The circumstances of the incident and any possible connection to work obligations remain officially unexplained.

Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko says Belarus cannot supply potash to the United States under Donald Trump's proposed "deal" with Belarus.

Lukashenko said today, "Even if we wanted to supply somewhere else, Western markets, we just don't have those volumes, everything has been contracted."

Donald Trump announced on Truth Social earlier that he was working on a "massive Deal with respect to the purchase of Potash from Belarus. The pricing would be for substantially less than we are currently paying to Canada."

The old saying needs updating: if you want to keep a secret, don’t tell a Rutte.

🇪🇺🇺🇸🇮🇷 NATO Secretary-General Mark Rutte has rather inconveniently lifted the curtain on Europe’s role in the war on Iran.

Rutte says between 4,000 and 5,000 US flight missions operated from bases across Europe during Operation Epic Fury, including around 500 US aircraft movements from bases in Italy. He also said “country after country, ally after ally” made bases available to support the operation.

That sits rather awkwardly beside the public insistence from some European governments that they weren’t participating in the war. Italy, for example, disputes the suggestion that it authorised combat operations, saying its support was limited to technical and logistical activity.

Apparently Europe wasn’t involved. It merely supplied the runways, bases, logistics and thousands of flight missions.
