Divya Deshmukh defeats Humpy Koneru to win the 2025 FIDE Women's World Cup.

Divya Deshmukh became the 4th Indian woman to earn the title of Grandmaster with her victory at the FIDE Women’s World Cup 2025.

She follows Humpy, R. Vaishali, Harika Dronavalli to get prestigious grandmaster title ( 4 indian women grandmasters).

She also becomes 88th Indian to earn this title.

Divya secured the title in the final of the FIDE Women’s World Cup in Batumi, Georgia.
