Why a custom embedded wallet and not just privy/others?
You shouldn't have to invest time onboarding to benefit from uSwap. Anyone who's ever used an embedded wallet knows it's kinda a pain to use. Passkeys and Oauth just to see a deposit address? I think that's stupid, and I know there’s a better way for our users & partners. So uSwap's building its own.

Firstly - don't be alarmed: uSwap, and I will always keep you safe, no matter what. I will fight for you till the bitter end. Funds have never been permanently lost on uSwap. It's completely safe to swap on uSwap - and no outage is occurring.

Secondly, some of you may have realized fees are higher than usual lately.

This isn't me - it's NEAR's Fault. And they're getting the fees.
This affects everyone swapping via NEAR - so this is affecting everyone, regardless of where you swap - all near-powered frontends saw this change.

They're currently just seeing what they can get away with. And I say they shouldn't get away with any of it.

We're coming after NEAR directly, and we will start our own protocol outside of NEAR if that's what it takes to resolve these issues.

The foundation of tx.taxi was laid, but it took 10 months to finally build the capabilities required to pump out mempool.space forks for basically any blockchain in minutes.

1. No money has EVER been permanently lost on uSwap, and I will always fight to keep it that way.
2. The hack that occurred was basically a rounding error compared to the volume NEAR Intents processes.
3. NEAR is refunding everyone affected by the hack.
4. No uSwap users were affected by the hack.

Don’t get lost in the noise. Some platforms choose not to publicize upstream incidents when their own users aren’t affected. I prefer to disclose them anyway, even if it temporarily costs us volume.
