Minor outage identified with PayPal, Venmo, and rarely some fiat swap refund pathways - requiring manual update to properly route when cancelled. All funds are always safe & secure end to end, and all swaps continue to process or refund automatically, just thought I’d share for transparency’s sake. 100% consistency and live per-provider status monitoring will be available on the next update so issues like these never occur again.

This project has been in the making for an incredibly long time and I’m happy (but not surprised) to see it succeed. It’s still just the beginning. This project started as a the very first automated OGU credit bot, and I slowly grew it to an ogu-based exchange service, then a website, then uSwap. All decisions validated by real market data. 1000+ hours have went into iteration on this idea, this is the fourth uSwap version I’ve wrote over two years, just because of how many times I wanted to alter the way things worked after receiving feedback from the market. Nobody wants to create an account to swap. Rewards programs are redundant when you should pass all savings to users initially instead of complicating things. Those decisions - made far too late haha - resulted in the product you use now. Without the past iterations, without the failures, I would not have what I present to you now. Every setback is another chance to improve and grow. I cannot lose, uSwap cannot lose, it won’t come in second, it will win.

Going to be pushing a complete executor & quote engine rewrite with self-configurable legs in preparation for uSwap Operator API - as well as verifiable refund pathways, health checks on providers, and custom API-only "Hold" legs so operators can pre-plan non-custodial multi-party approvals before proceeding, and can plan for what happens when both parties don't approve (Allows for automatic, non-custodial escrow - where both sides can pay in, and receive any asset they want - along with other use cases in our payment processor).

Every time I revisit the architecture of this product, I always consider edge cases that I wouldn’t have been aware of if it weren’t for previous iterations. Cases that - for the most part - can be resolved through structural changes rather than bolting on new systems. I feel this will be the final version. The architecture is actually bulletproof and the live test coverage across all failure points I've witnessed in prod.

My goal’s to end up having a service so reliable, so fast, and so transparent, that a “contact support” button isn’t even needed by its users.

I have escalated the issue to the NEAR T2 team (who is our LTC ingress partner) and we are monitoring the situation.
