Months ago, I pledged to create the best, most transparent swap service globally.

Now that we're well on the way, the only thing competitors can do against uSwap is silence it.

OGU's team is closely involved with Swap.my - a competitor to uSwap - which charges 0.72% fees to customers, WITHOUT TELLING THEM, for a worse, resold product.

When OGU's owner saw uSwap's recent growth, he resorted to banning all of my domains and references to uSwap from OGU's forum.

Try putting "u.software" or "uswap.net" on OGU, it gets auto-replaced with "******".

Clearly, uSwap is something he's afraid of losing to. And instead of channeling that fear into building, his only option is to abuse his power.

He tried this with a false ban months ago, where he took my Verified rank, banned me, force-changed my username, and let a random void claim it after I made him angry in OGU Chat. Now he's threatening to put me in DWC despite months of good behavior.

Just another desperate personal attack, from someone who's afraid of what uSwap means for his future.

uSwap is going to change everything for the better - and nothing Arc, or ANYONE does will be able to stop it.

Quoting has been temporarily stopped by NEAR to prevent laundering of funds after a large-scale DeFi hack occurred on Rhea Finance (a Near-based Protocol).

UPDATE from NEAR: NEAR Intents itself was not affected, and no user funds were stolen or lost. Intents paused for approximately 12 additional hours while we await the complete list of blacklisted addresses and a full understanding of the flow of funds.
I'm fed up with NEAR at this point. I'm going to build better systems to support the volume through multiple providers after fiat's done.

All user funds are safe (of course).

This just proves that uSwap’s near intent swap implementation does not, and cannot KYC. They had to halt the entire protocol to prevent laundering, as it’s impossible for them to freeze individual swaps for KYC once they’ve been started - AML-flagged wallets are just simply refunded.

Edit: I'm working on developing architecture to allow for the zero-second deposit detection & multi-provider swap routing on bridges, no more stuck deposits or outages like these. It's simply unacceptable.

Minor outage identified with PayPal, Venmo, and rarely some fiat swap refund pathways - requiring manual update to properly route when cancelled. All funds are always safe & secure end to end, and all swaps continue to process or refund automatically, just thought I’d share for transparency’s sake. 100% consistency and live per-provider status monitoring will be available on the next update so issues like these never occur again.

This project has been in the making for an incredibly long time and I’m happy (but not surprised) to see it succeed. It’s still just the beginning. This project started as a the very first automated OGU credit bot, and I slowly grew it to an ogu-based exchange service, then a website, then uSwap. All decisions validated by real market data. 1000+ hours have went into iteration on this idea, this is the fourth uSwap version I’ve wrote over two years, just because of how many times I wanted to alter the way things worked after receiving feedback from the market. Nobody wants to create an account to swap. Rewards programs are redundant when you should pass all savings to users initially instead of complicating things. Those decisions - made far too late haha - resulted in the product you use now. Without the past iterations, without the failures, I would not have what I present to you now.
