This is the creation of Allah. So show Me what those other than Him have created. Rather, the wrongdoers are in clear error.

This is the creation of Allah. So show Me what those other than Him have created. Rather, the wrongdoers are in clear error.
For those who feel they fell short in worship during the past days:
You have not missed the train… the opportunity is still here. The coming days are the greatest of days, so come — let us strive in worship.
Dear brothers and sisters, do you realize what we are approaching tomorrow? It is the Day of Day of Arafah, about which our Prophet ﷺ said:
“Fasting on the Day of Arafah — I hope from Allah that it expiates the sins of the year before it and the year after it.”
A single day of fasting through which the Most Merciful forgives the sins of two years!
And regarding this day, our Prophet ﷺ also said:
“The best supplication is the supplication made on the Day of Arafah.”
(Authenticated by Al-Albani)
Do you have hopes and needs that you wish Allah would fulfill for you? Burdens you pray He would remove? The season has arrived.
Do you feel distant from Allah and long to draw close to Him again and find comfort in His nearness? The season has arrived.
Has your heart grown hard, touched by the diseases of the heart, and you hope Allah will soften and purify it? The season has arrived.
Do you wish for Allah to bestow His pleasure upon you and never be displeased with you again? Do you hope that your body will be protected from the Fire? The season has arrived.
“There is no day on which Allah frees more servants from the Fire than the Day of Arafah.”
(Muslim)
So it is no wonder that Allah made the day after Arafah a day of Eid al-Adha — a celebration in which Muslims rejoice in Allah’s mercy, forgiveness, and generosity that they hope for.
In Ramadan, Laylat al-Qadr is hidden from us and we do not know exactly when it is. But the Day of Arafah has been clearly shown to you by Allah.
If striving hard for worship during five nights (the odd nights of the last ten nights of Ramadan) feels difficult, then will striving for just one day feel too heavy?
So raise your determination!
Think well of Allah’s mercy and the vastness of His forgiveness. Beware of letting Shaytan enter through the door of self-blame, making you feel cut off from your Lord or unworthy of His mercy…
“Indeed, Allah forgives all sins.”
And do not forget to pray for your brothers and sisters in Gaza, throughout Palestine, in Sudan, and everywhere else — asking Allah to relieve their suffering and to use you in supporting them in a way that removes from you the sin of abandonment.
O Allah, grant me and my brothers and sisters success in performing righteous deeds that are accepted by You.
