# Withdrawal of Railway vacancies from ESE 2020 #
Dear ESE 2020 Aspirants,

*Sub: Request for not to withdraw railway vacancies from UPSC ESE 2020 .*
Dear Sir/Madam,
Through RTI Ref no:MORLY/R/2019/55659 dtd 14.01.2020 We (ESE Aspirants) came to know that Ministry of Railway cancelled the vacancies for ESE 2020. for which stage -I (Preliminary) examination is already conducted on 5th January 2020 and we are now waiting for the results and further preparing for stage -II (Mains ) Examination.
We had been preparing for these group -A,Railway posts /services with lot of hope &expectations . It is great pride for us to join & serve the Railway department & The Nation through these Engg.services posts .
We Sincerely request you to kindly review the decision of revoking the railway engineering posts from ESE 2020 and most humbly request you to reinstate the vacancies as notified earlier /prior to application /examination . Many of us are preparing for these posts since last few years and for some of us it is the last chance/attempt (age wise ) . Sudden withdrawal of these posts is highly dis appointing to all of us . Railway is the best & most preferred technical department for Engineers & we eagerly wait and prepare for these services with lot of hope & efforts . If These services are withdrawn from ESE and added in CSE (in case) then for us (engineers)it would be very difficult to compete with CSE aspirants & hence it is a humble request to recruit railway engineers through ESE .If it is mandatory to conduct the separate examination for IRMS for progressive railway ,then it should be conducted from next cycle ie 2021 onward ,so that already applied and appeared candidates in ESE 2020 of current exam cycle do not suffer .
Kindly give us a hope that govt cares for the unemployed students & its citizens .
We students are away from our home for the preparation & hundreds of days we go semi meal, hundreds of sleepless nights we study , hundreds of days we make hard work, only to become a suitable & capable engineer so that we can serve our proud India to make it more progressive Nation.
Your Sincerely
( ESE 2020 Aspirant )
