What does a €60,000 salary actually mean in Europe?

And going a a bit further, how much it contributes to the bigger picture — the European investment environment?

🌟 Boundless has recently published a chart showing the employment costs across 37 European countries. The data is fresh, dated 2025.

According to the chart, the top 3 countries for employees are the following:

1️⃣ Bulgaria — €51,150
2️⃣ Switzerland — €50,117
3️⃣ Albania — €46,882

Quite unexpectedly, right?

🌟 That’s because a gross salary never tells the full story.

To see the true picture, we need to factor in:

🌟 Employer contributions

🌟 Net salary (the part an employee takes home)

This just proves that relying on a salary alone is no longer enough. With rising expenses, high taxes, and inflation eating up to 50% of savings, money that just sits in your account loses value.

On average, direct stock holdings account for just 6% of households’ financial assets in the euro area.

🌟 Tight regulation and limited bank credit.

Even in real estate, which previously attracted more participants, has become less accessible due to credit constraints and regulatory barriers.

The factors mentioned above create a so-called hidden wealth gap — when people with access to investments gain much more than those without.

Update on Vibroedil project

Dear community,

We’re closely monitoring the situation and have seen each and every one of your comments.

Let us reassure you that everything is under Maclear’s control.

Finance-related issues are an inherent part of investing, and occasional risks can occur. We remain in constant contact with the Vibroedil CEO and are doing everything possible to resolve the matter quickly.

Here’s the current situation:

🌟 In total, €200,000 was provided to the borrower (€150,000 on Maclear and €50,000 on 8lends).

🌟 We expect the first payment to arrive soon, which will be used to close the project’s principal and distributed among investors.

🌟 Future interest payments are unlikely to be made. However, all interest already paid remains with investors, and the principal provided to the project in the form of a loan will be repaid in full (100%). Later, you can reinvest or withdraw the money.

🌟 Regarding the Maclear Provision Fund: the fund exists to cover temporary difficulties of a borrower. At this stage, full principal repayment is expected from the borrower.

🌟 In accordance with personal guarantees, the repayment comes directly from the owner’s personal funds, not Vibroedil’s assets.
