I've said it before and I'll say it again. All the greatest men in history were "modernists" of their time. Their sacred symbols of the wheel, the longship, and the smithing hammer were cutting edge technology.

Our forefathers laughed at people like this who looked back wistfully to a golden age as they smote them down with bronze atop their domesticated horses. Their imperatives came from the past, but they were men of their time, pioneering new art forms, media, and technology. We invented epic, tragedy, comedy, satire, elegy, lyric, ode, ballad, tercet, blank verse, free verse, the twelve-tone system, counterpoint, foreshortening, chiaroscuro, Gothic, Baroque, Art Nouveau, Art Deco, the phonograph, the microphone—and we will do it again.

Anyone who wants to cry about fallen men in a fallen world can go do it somewhere else. We will step over you, to wield modern technology and art forms to destroy your enemies.

If for no other reason- you must not become jaded or “black-pilled” out of pure spite. Your enemies want you miserable, apathetic, and removed from all discourse. Let burning anger fuel you, not consume you. In the end, we win.

I see the usual suspects are using the VP Vance topic to push the idea that White women are uniquely evil and unloving. I am simply noticing.

Tired of the idea that if we are just really NICE to groups of people they’ll vote conservative. Possibly the most ridiculous argument I’ve ever heard. A fundamental misunderstanding of politics and people in general. Immediately disregard anyone proclaiming this as a solution.

Shoulda known better than to trust a Canadian news page smh

We know not all childless women are childless by choice and many go through horrible things. If you’re reading a post about childless, terrible people and you think “wow I can’t believe they think I’m a bad person for losing a child” - you need to log off.

I do not know a single man on this Earth who would look at a woman who had a miscarriage and tell her she’s no different than a girl boss dog mom. Cut it out. We are not going to organize policies around the inability of some women to separate themselves from other women.

This is exactly how we got here. Every woman complaining about kindness and their friend (which I also have by the way) who went through horrible things saying we should never criticize women is only confirming the obvious. The nice for the sake of nice has to end.

Many things can be dangerous to women when we project ourselves onto them. Please, if this is you - remove yourself from those things. I take breaks regularly here. Do the same with those things for you, don’t reshape conversations and the entire nation around your feelings.

This isn’t a dunk on women, when we pour our entire being into things it makes us excellent wives and mothers. Pouring your entire being into the opinion of thousands of strangers on apps or onto national politics is insane. Take care of yourself.
